From a distance, the Capitol Building is an architectural masterpiece and the symbolic heart of the nation's legislative process. With its iconic white dome crowned by the Statue of Freedom, it stands as a beacon of democracy against the Washington DC skyline.

The expansive West Front, often seen during presidential inaugurations, provides a dramatic backdrop with its series of staircases, columns, and porticos. As the sun casts its glow, the building's details become even more pronounced, illuminating its Neoclassical design elements and the meticulous craftsmanship that went into its construction.

Even from afar, the Capitol's majesty is undeniable. It serves as a reminder of the nation's history, the challenges overcome, and the democratic ideals that the United States continues to uphold. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply an admirer of architectural splendor, the distant view of the Capitol Building is a sight that resonates with grandeur and significance.

Barry was an amazing host/narrator/driver on our private Pedicab Tour! Even as a DC area native, I’ve never toured DC this way and not only was the tour informative, it was great to have the individualized attention throughout! This kind of tour, in our opinion, beats the normal bus tours any day.. Highly recommend!!

Barry provided an excellent tour, prompt, very knowledgeable, easy getting around on the bike, it was fun. Barry showed some hidden gems that most likely would have missed on a group tour.

This tour is best introduction to the monuments of DC. I saw so much in such a short period of time. And what a great guide. People walked up to us several times to ask how they could book a tour. I guess they could tell this was a better experience than what they were doing - trying to see things by foot. Even though my arrival time was uncertain they worked with me to make it happen and I’m so glad it worked out.

Great way to see DC’s famous monuments and landmarks. Barry was an awesome tour guide and kept us (adults and kids) involved during the entire tour. We love taking pictures and he took some really great family pictures that we’ll treasure forever. My kids still talk about the tour and my son said Barry is GOAT (greatest of all time)!

Barry was the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide! Communication prior to the tour to confirm the time and meeting place was clear and professional. He arrived on time and made sure to involve us in planning the route, so we saw everything we wanted and more. He was AMAZING with my children (ages 6 and 7), adjusting the level of detail based on their interests. He kept them entertained and engaged the whole time. They LOVED the maps and prizes. They’ve already told me they want to do it again with more of our family members next time we visit.

More than we expected! Nice work by Pedicab Barry!! Funny, engaging, informative, generous, and nice. Book them! You won’t be sorry. We called him the morning of (but you can book online) and he was more than willing to get us taken care of. My wife talked with him, let him know it was our son’s birthday. He immediately started suggesting some places that kids would love. He met us out on Independence Ave and then we were off. Stops along the way at all the great monuments, he gave us tons of information on all the buildings and government offices as we passed them. History about the city, individuals who impacted our country’s history in the US as well as Central and South America are all a huge plus in my book. I could go on about all the great things he did for my family in this tour. Just know that it’s worth the 2 hours. It’s worth the smiles. It’s worth memories!!!

The tour was awesome. We got to see all the major highlights of DC, and spend time exploring a little closer, at our own pace. Barry was very knowledgeable about the area, but didn’t overload us with info. The scooters are a lot of fun! So much better than just sitting on a bus and looking around.
