The language barrier. The driver that picked us up on Wednesday, had a translator on his phone. We had a hard time locating him because we didnt know where to go but he sent pictures & was very nice.
The driver that picked us up on Saturday was a nightmare! He had the wrong address, I explained to him I couldnt understand him & he kept hanging the phone up & would call back. Needless to say, he frightened me driving! When he talked, we struggled to understand what he was saying but his tone was rude, he was angry.

Communication and overall excellent service! This was my 2nd time with Pedro and he EXCELLENT! I flew with my mom and 2 kids, and Pedro was on time and txt’d until we were able to be picked up.

The driver fell asleep during the ride. This happened multiple times, during as well as while waiting for a stoplight. This resulted in going out of his lane, onto lanes with other cars.
After we arrived at the airport the driver was surprised not to get a tip from me. I told him that I'd seen he fell asleep. His response: that happens to everyone, I brought you safely to the airport.
I told him to get some sleep before driving and not drive away and endangering other drivers.

Car arrived on time as promised. The driver was very personable and knew the best route to take for the time of arrival to avoid sitting in traffic longer than expected. I have used this car service before on my trips to NYC and it beats a 12-15 passenger van that has to make a stop at every hotel in midtown delaying the drop-off at my hotel and the airport upon return. Highly recommend spending a few dollars more for private transportation to and from the airport.

Service was good at the start of our trip but had to cancel my return transfer. Despite sending me a confirmation with the correct details I was concerned that something was not right and when I called the operator had all the wrong information including my intended destination and pick up time !! So disappointing

This was our first visit to NYC. I was nervous about transportation and was so lucky to have found Viator to help us with this. We used Viator for excursions as well as transportation to our hotel from JFK and back. Our drivers were on time and very professional and nice to talk to. The vehicles were exactly what we requested and very clean. Great experience!

This is a limo company that employs drivers who cannot drive. We had two near misses for erratic last minute lane changes. The driver also used Sat Nav rather than common sense, and parked in the wrong street for the pickup from our (very obvious) hotel in Times Square. But, the worst thing by far is that the driver was either on, or off, the accelerator 100% of the time, even in free-flowing traffic. It literally made us all sea-sick. How this guy has a taxi license I do not know. TRAIN THEM PROPERLY and TEST THEM!
