Prepare for a day of absolute bliss as you discover the best of Tuscany… A private driver will pick you up directly from your accommodation in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes vehicle. Simply relax and enjoy the beautiful rolling hills throughout your journey from Florence to Siena. You will arrive there in about an hour.

Stop At: Siena, Siena, Tuscany
Upon arrival, your driver will drop you off very close to the Siena Cathedral, a major perk of traveling privately! Siena breathes history, and it is the hotspot of medieval glory throughout the Tuscany region. With a rich past of architecture, art, and culture, the city of Siena itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Enjoy two hours of independent exploration throughout the medieval-style buildings, artisanal shops, local restaurants, and picturesque alleyways.

Stop At: Piazza del Campo, 53100, Siena Italy
As you follow the picturesque streets of Siena, it is impossible to miss the most famous square in the city - Piazza del Campo. This (very) large, oval shaped piazza is a popular place for locals to gather with family, friends, and classmates. You will find plenty of Sienese locals resting on the wide slopes, which lead to Palazzo Comunale and Torre del Mangia. It is also home to an annual palio horse race, which is an epic competition between the different neighborhoods of Siena! After admiring the panoramic views, re-energize yourself with a cappuccino at one of the many cafes lining Piazza del Campo, experiencing Siena as the locals do.

Stop At: Duomo di Siena, Piazza del Duomo 8, 53100, Siena Italy
After spending some time leisurely exploring the city, it will be time to visit the beating heart of Siena - the Siena Cathedral. The breathtaking facade is decorated in pink, green, white, and black marble. Constructed in the 1200’s, this is a marvelous example of Romanesque-Gothic architecture. After entering, admire the uniquely carved marble floors, which depict biblical stories on 56 different scenes. As you look up, you will see masterpieces throughout the church from Renaissance masters including Donatello, Pisano, Pinturicchio, and Michelangelo. Stroll through the grandiose atmosphere inside, and before exiting, don't miss the hidden gem of the Cathedral - the vividly painted Piccolomini Library!

Stop At: San Gimignano, San Gimignano, Tuscany
Then, hop back in your luxury, private vehicle, and you will be on your way to the nearby town of San Gimignano. As you get closer to the hilltop town, your driver will gladly point out its unmistakable medieval “skyscrapers.” Sometimes called a medieval Manhattan, there are still thirteen towers intact in this perfectly preserved hilltop town. Your driver will drop you off outside the ancient gate of the city. Here, you can find a famous panoramic viewpoint of the Tuscan countryside and its rolling, green hills filled with olive groves and vineyards. You will have an hour to explore the lovely, Renaissance town of San Gimignano as you please.

As you wander through the characteristic alleyways of San Gimignano, the streets will lead you to Piazza della Cisterna. This is the main square of the city, and where you can find the Cathedral, Duomo, and striking medieval architecture! Indulge in a local a gelato or coffee, and enjoy the lovely views of this ancient city.

Stop At: Chianti Road, Italy
When you are finished exploring San Gimignano, your driver will be at your service! You will be on your way to the world-renowned Chianti region, with its truly magical landscapes. Admire the marvelous scenery, dotted with tiny villages and magnificent castles dominating the sunny, rolling hills. One of the perks of a private tour is the ability to make stops whenever you see something that catches your eye! Simply ask, and your driver will be more than happy to allow you to take some wonderful photos.
Make the most of your time in the famous Chianti wine region with a local wine tasting! You have the option to make your own reservations at a wine estate, we are happy to do the planning for you, or your driver can even help with recommendations! If our optional wine tasting is added to your itinerary, your driver will take you to a local wine estate in the heart of the Chianti hills.

Our tour guide, Cristian, was exceptional. On time, kind, warm and extremely knowledgeable. We traveled from Florence through to San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti. Would recommend to anyone visiting the region!

My experience with Ciao Florence was incredibly frustrating and awful; I would give them 0 stars if I could. Firstly, in their confirmation email, they leave a space that reads "More information: Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal". After that space, there it reads "Meeting point is located 5-10 minute walking distance from the station". I'm not sure why they mention the Santa Maria Novella Station as a reference when it is more like 15 minutes away. The spacing in the email is confusing as it seems like more information is available at the bus terminal and that the meeting point is 5-10 minutes away from the station where someone in a fucsia jacket is. As the station has different levels, I am at the station trying to find Ciao Florence, walking around in circles. Google Maps tells me to go in the station, through where the trains are, then back, then out again, then rerouting asking me to go back in. So I went upstairs and it told me to go back downstairs, clearly, Google Maps does not work. I got a call from them and I told them what was happening and I should be there in 5-10 minutes as I was in the station, then the caller told me I'd never make it in 5-10 minutes. So which is it? Are you conveniently located 5-10 minutes near the station or not? By the time I arrived which was 15 minutes later, and it was only after asking police officers and other pedestrians for directions, they had already left, which fair enough they waited for me about 9 minutes, however, it took about 15 to get there. When I arrived I called Ciao Florence and they refused to rebook me without charging me and my partner the full fee again. I don't know who they think they are, but everyone in hospitality, even airlines offers to rebook for a fee or ensalty but 100% is absurd. You are dealing with people who do not know where they are, in a country that speaks a different language than one's own, accidents, mistakes, or technical errors can occur, etc. In a previous review, the person from Ciao Florence replying to other people goes as far as suggesting to another guest who gave them a 1-star review, that they "always suggest to go there the day before the tour or to use Google Maps so as to have all the needed information to arrive on time with no hiccups." I am sure people traveling to Florence on a short holiday think "Why don't we go to the departure point of this tour we are taking on another day, and test to see if the Google Maps works and make sure the directions Ciao Florence gives as a departure point makes sense". This shows how truly unempathetic they are which is proven if you call them and explain, and they can hear you upset on the phone crying telling you "then why are you late? other people made it on time, it is just you. nobody else has this issue". Shaming guests is unacceptable when you can see this has happened to many others before and people are upset. In this tough economy, travel isn't easy for everyone; I make minimum wage and saved up for my birthday trip, wasting €150 being shamed and treated poorly wasn't how I wanted to spend my birthday. Their bad customer service is a clear sign to choose a different tour company to avoid the hassle and rudeness. You also see how unempathic they are in the way they reply to reviews. The worst thing is if they didn't reference the "short walk" from the station I would have made it easily as my hotel was 700 meters from the departure point.

We had a great time with our driver Placido! He listened to what we wanted to do and see and made it all happen. He was kind, knowledgeable and took great care of us. He even threw in a few extra gems for us he thought we’d enjoy seeing. Boy was he spot on!!! Took us to the perfect vineyard. Can’t wait to book with Placido again on our next visit to Tuscany.

We had the best day with our driver Placido! We booked a private tour for 2 adults and 2 kids (11&13), and everyone loved it. We went to Siena, San Gimignano, a few other stops and finished off at the Corbucci winery for a tasting meal that was unbelievable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a unique tour of Tuscany.

Such an amazing day out. We went first to Monteriggoni to start the morning in the quiet town, then to sienna where we chose to have the self guided tour as we are slower walkers (recent injury). Our host Constantine was amazing, accommodated our slow walking needs, funny, engaging and very informed. The company have links to a local restaurant to arrange a 3-course lunch in Sienna for a good price to allow you to enjoy the free time and not rush to find a spot. The wine tasting was amazing with 4 wines, more lunch and tasting of oils and balsamic. San gimignano was lovely and we arrived with time to explore and shop before enjoying a sunset drive back to Florence in February. We got back around 19:00.

Cristian was amazing! He was very helpful! Spoke English well and even waited outside a jewelry shop for my grandma for a while on our way back! We would definitely choose this tour again. Thank you for making our trip and experience that much more enjoyable.

This tour was wonderful! Our tour guide Cristian was so knowledgeable and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we hoped it would be. He provided great recommendations at each of our stops and opportunities for pictures along the way. It was great to have the chance to see more of Italy during our time in Florence. Definitely a highlight of our time there!

My husband and I went on a private Tuscany wine tour and it was absolutely incredible. Christian was our tour leader and he explained what the day was going to consist of, told us so much history about the area itself, was so easy for us to talk to and he got us to our locations very safe. He was very organized and had several ideas on different vineyards and we feel that he chose amazing ones. My husband and I feel that this was such an amazing experience and our favorite part of our trip, cannot recommend this tour and having Christian as our tour leader enough - thank you for an amazing day!

We had an amazing time in the Chianti wine region! Thus far our favorite day of our Italian vacation. We were able to visit 2 wineries and both towns. Though my wife was unable to drink wine (4 mo pregnant), both farmhouses we visited were accommodating, and the wine was top notch! I can’t say enough about our driver and guide, Christian. His knowledge of the region and historical stories kept even the long stretches of driving entertaining and informative. He organized amazing vineyard stops and a lunch which felt like it was from a postcard. Thank you Christian for taking our vacation to the next level!
