Our guide for the day was Rodrigo. We couldn't have asked for a more friendly and knowledgeable person. He picked us up from our hotel on time and pointed out many points of interest throughout the journey. He was unbelievably passionate on wine and it made our day. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommended.
I would ask for him for certain.

We had the pleasure of Ricardo as our guide. He created a personal and unique experience for us that included wine tastings geared to our tastes and lunch of a fabulous meal in a small, authentic Portuguese family owned restaurant.
This was by far the best tour experience we had in Portugal.

Vasco was our driver and was very courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our day with him immensely. The first stop was a large family owned winery with a large warehouse of older muskatel wines dating back to 1955. The wine making process varies from usual and was very interesting. We had a great testing and Vasco set us up a private table with four different wines plus we were able to sample two others from the distributor. The prices were amazing. We had two more stops that were wonderful places to view the surroundings and enjoy different types of one. Samples five wines on the second stop and purchased a bottle. The final stop was a wonderful family farm with fabulous views and a sampling of five wines and we purchased a bottle. This was a wonderful day

Joaon was our guide and he was fantastic. He felt very comfortable with him. We did the three wine stops and tastings. He heard that we like tiles so he made a stop off the tour at a tile manufacturer which we really liked. A definite pro of a private tour and a flexible guide. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I spent a wonderful day with Ricardo exploring the Setubal wine region. We toured a beautiful winery and tasted wine chosen by Ricardo at the next stop. At the last location, we sampled more wine accompanied by a delicious charcuterie. We appreciated the hospitality shown by everyone we met. Thank you for a special day!

Our guide, Vasco picked up at the Lisbon cruise ship terminal for our private tour in the Setúbal wine region to the south. We visited 3 wineries for tastings and learned about Portuguese wine and wine making. As a bonus, we explored Palmela Castle (Castelo de Palmela), including the 15th century Church of Santiago. Vasco was very personable, knowledgeable and a great guide. We highly recommend Vasco and this tour!

What an amazing day we had with Paolo! If you are thinking about this experience don’t hesitate. It was fantastic. We would also encourage you to request Paolo. He has a passion for what he does and it was his energy and excitement that truly added to our experience. If you are offered the option of skipping one winery and substituting it with lunch, go for it. We had a delicious, authentic, memorable Portuguese meal without an additional cost. Paolo is a former chef, so he understands the importance of food and wine. 10 stars!!!!
