What an exceptional day we had, we got lucky with the weather and our tour group that made the whole day that much better.
The highlight is the Puffing Billy sitting on the lip is exhilarating and the views are awesome.
Everything we did from the sanctuary to the chocolate factory was amazing.
Out tour guide Marilese was excellent, informative froemdlyy and clearly loves her job.

Meet at 8.15am & return about 6+pm . Spend about half a day in Puffing Billy & really enjoyed it like a child. 3 hrs at Healesville Sanctuary was slightly long for me but able to watch the birds show at 3pm. More suitable for family with young kids here. Lastly a short visit to Yarra valley. The ice cream was lovely & very big scoop.

The trip was amazing. Our tour guide, John was a really nice person.. He is funny, also he was ensuring we are all feeling good the entire trip.!Highly recommended!

This tour is well worth it, it was so much fun. One disappointment is that we were changed from an 8.15am pick up to a 9.40am pick up without any ability to decline this which meant dinner plans had to be changed. Moving on from that the actual trip was unbelievable. Stopping at a chocolate shop, wildlife Sanctuary and then the puffing Billy through some amazing scenery. One thing if you are traveling around this time of year ensure to take a jacket as it was cool by end of tour. Mars was a fantastic tour guide really made the trip and we were very lucky everyone on our tour was always on time.

Nice trip! Puffing Billy makes for a wonderful opportunity to relax and breathe in the fresh air whilst the train makes its way through the temperate rainforest. And our guide was kind, we really enjoy the tour.

The driver Kevin was really great: informative in a funny way. There were enough stops and great things to see and experience. If you like to see Australian animals, lovely scenery, old techniques (the steam train) and chocolate, definitely go.

In spite of it being a day of showers, we enjoyed our trip. We had an excellent tour guide, Martise ( I hope that is spelt correctly). She organized us in a friendly way and was happy to chat, while keeping us on time. The Puffing Billy was a unique expression, my husband and I, in our late 70s, dangled our feet over the side!!!!!
