A Quest to find the Northern Lights with Boreal Quest
Your journey starts with your guide picking everyone up at the meeting point.
Your guide has many years of experience and extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and its weather patterns.
The tour heads out to different places almost every night, as the weather determines where to go.
After finding the ideal location, a campfire is set up, where your guide serves hot drinks, dinner, and cookies and explains everything that you need to know about the Northern Lights while photographs are also taken either before or after/while having the campfire.
Thermal suits, foot, and hand warmers are provided.
Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation (if it is on Tromsø island)

During our vacation in Tromsø, we went on 3 tours with George and it was amazing! For me, it was the first time seeing the northern lights, and the experience couldn’t have been better. George picked out amazing spots, set up a nice campfire, gave us hot drinks, self-made soup and cookies. While you wait for the northern lights, George tells you everything you want to know about them. Also, George's enthusiasm when the lights start is everything!
If you're hesitating to book the tour, well don’t! This will be the best guide you’ll find all over Tromsø :)

First week of april we went on tour with our guide George trying to see the lights.
George is very dedicated and his passion/knowledge about the northern lights is infectious enthusiastic.
His warm drinks and delicious self made soup are warming you up during the cold nights.
We saw the lights several times due to George is his experience en amazing locations.
With his amazing camera he makes a lot of pictures about you and the lights. Afterwards, he will send them to you within one or two days. The quality of his photos are incredible.
During the trip you can chose your own music and George will stop several times to let you take pictures of the beautiful landscapes if you want.

I've been to Tromsø 5 times and been on several aurora tours. The first time we went with George I was amazed by his determination to find the best possible spots weatherwise to be able to see the northernlights! We were able to compare with other companies and he's just goes the extra mile!
That's why I only booked with him after that and never been dissapointed ( even that one night we didn't really saw the lights because of the low activity).
He's very well informed, explains everything very well! He's an incredibly talented photographer and a wonderfull host for the night! He's kind, funny and just wants everyone to have a great time.
(The two pictures with this post are only two of the mindblowing pictures we got from him!)
It's a tour in a smaller group which makes it more intimate and personal and makes it possible to connect more with the rest of the group around the campfire. He has everything with him to make the cold more bearable and the food and drinks are really good and help to warm you up!
10/10 would recommend !

George of Boreal Quest is the best tour guide in the area.
He tries to give you the best possible experience in any circumstances. He will drive 4-5 hours so you can see the lights if he needs to!
The cookies, campfire, warm soup en hot drinks are very nice!
George assists his guest with their tripods and camera settings so they can take beautiful pictures themselves!
In the meantime he takes stunning pictures himself wich he shares with the group afterwards.
He gives a lot of interesting information about the lights!
If you want to catch northern lights in a small group with a knowdlegable guide! Boreal Quest is your best option!

We had a wonderful tour with our driver, George he was very prepared and organized, had warmers for our feet for our hands. He made a wonderful soup and wonderful hot drinks. We had an amazing time he was the best tour guide..
