Day 1: Bogota - Rafting at Cañón del Güejar (private transportation from Bogota is optional)
Stop At: Canon Del Guejar, Canon De Guejar Travesia Por El Cañón Del Río Güejar, San Juan de Arama Colombia
After check in, you'll head to El Limón, the initial point of the rafting activity. There, you will receive safety instructions to enjoy your experience worry-free.
Throughout 17 km (approx 10 mi.), you will be able to enjoy the scenery, stop to bird watch, float on the river with your lifejacket on, visit other waterfalls, and wander through the Valle de las Hadas. Additionally, you'll enjoy a typical regional snack.
After the river experience, you'll visit La Recebera, an eco-tourism farm, where you will enjoy lunch.

Day 2: Waterfalls tour
Stop At: Senderismo Cascadas Mesetas, Cl 7 # 18 - 03 Oficina Exploring Paradise Trip, Mesetas 505001 Colombia
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a ride in a 4x4 to a set of 3 waterfalls: Caracas, Peltón, and El Santuario.
You will be able to enjoy a typical lunch from that region after visiting the waterfalls.
Later, you will hike to Mirador del Cerro del Bus, where you will be able. to enjoy a beautiful view and if you're lucky, birdwatch for native bird species.
Finally, you'll head back and enjoy some well-deserved rest and dinner at your accommodation.

Day 3: Guejar Wonders
Stop At: Canon del Rio Guejar, Mesetas Colombia
On this day we will visit a natural enclosure has the joy of being bathed by the river Güejar and in which abound natural pools, waterfalls, canyons, caves and all kinds of birds. natural pools, waterfalls, canyons, caves and all kinds of birds.
In this tour you will find 5 wonders that are fed by this river and that you can visit in a one day walk.

Day 4: Optional: Charco Azul. This option will be between day 2 and 3.
Stop At: Canon Del Guejar, Canon De Guejar Travesia Por El Cañón Del Río Güejar, San Juan de Arama Colombia
Charco Azul is a place surrounded by vegetation in a perfect state of conservation, a white sand beach that adorns the waterfall around it, which allows you to have an oasis in the middle of nature.
Nearby we also find the waterfall waterfall which has six steps, perfect for admiring and taking good pictures.
Very close to these two scenarios in a path hidden by the conflict that lived these territories, we find the camp of historical memory where you can learn a little of the history of the armed conflict and how the former FARC fighters lived in times of armed conflict.
To finish the day if you are in good physical condition we have the amazing Sansa Canyon where we can observe the particularity of the rock formations belonging to the Guyanese shield.
Note: This last trekking has a level of difficulty two, which implies that you must be in good health and have experience, since the terrain has some challenges and a certain degree of complexity.

It's an amazing experience to visit mesetas, the rafting by the Guejar Canyon took 5 hours of some rapids, incredible views. All was very good organized not only by the Willytour company but also by the whole community all along the travel, but this is not the only experience, for other days you can go to beautiful waterfalls where you can swim and very nice walks to the waterfall at Arenales.
You can have an incredible view of the surrounds of Mesetas going up to the Mirador del Indio Acostado, where you can distinguish The andes mountains, eastern planes and the mountains chains that are older than Andes.
A great surprise is that these zone was zone of violence and now is place of peace and of really important integration of the community to attend you in a very good way

Güejar is an up and coming destination in Colombia. Located just 5 hours away from Bogotá by car, Mesetas Is a small town that has seen a huge transformation after the peace agreement. Surrounding the town, there is a vast and rich natural setting with waterfalls, rivers and mountains. Just 5 years back, it was imposible to visit.
This trip with Impulse exceeded my expectations. Everything was carefully planned and the accommodated every traveler's needs. Their local operation was spotless. They work with the local community they have super high standards of sustainability.
I highly recommend this trip for travelers who want to go beyond the main Colombia route and who want to experience Colombia's lush nature that has been kept hidden for so many years.

El viaje al Cañon del Guejar con Impulse fue una excelente decision. Desde el proncipio todo estuvo muy bien planeado y en el viaje todo salió perfecto. Son una empresa muy comprometida con la experiencia de los viajeros, con los locales y con el medio ambiente. Los guías locales fueron excepcionales y conocen myy bien el territorio y lo trasmiten con pasión. Es de resaltar el trabajo de transormación social que Impulse ha apoyado en estas sonas de post-guerra, destinos que antes eran imposibles de visitar y que ahora el turismo da una nueva luz. Muy recomendado este viaje para cualquier persona que quiera tener un escape de la ciudad y conocer la Colombia profunda.

Esta ha sido una de las experiencia más increíbles que he tenido viajando por este país y una que le recomendaría a cualquier persona! Los paisajes son espectaculares, la naturaleza abundante, las experiencias que ofrece Impulse son perfectas para explorar el territorio y los guías locales son la mejor compañía: conocen la geografía, la historia y la cultura como nadie más y están siempre dispuestos a compartir su saber con la mejor de las actitudes. ¡Es un lugar mágico! Todo estuvo muy bien organizado, las opciones vegetarianas en todos los lugares estuvieron deliciosas y el alojamiento muy cómodo, con la oportunidad de vivir la experiencia local. Fue un viaje perfecto!

Los paisajes que se ven en este viaje son bellísimos! No solo deslumbra su naturaleza sino que se acompaña de la historia de nuestro país y de las historias que acompañan este territorio! Vale toda la pena ir, caminar ese espacio, mojarse, hablar con la gente y poder intentar y sentir más este país, su belleza, su historia y sus dolores pasados!

El Cañón del Guejar es uno de los lugares más increíbles que he visitado. Todos los atractivos naturales son impresionantes y muy bien conservados. Además, Impulse contacta guías locales que conocen el territorio, cuentan historias increíbles y ofrecen alimentación vegetariana de muy buena calidad. Todo estuvo muy bien organizado.

El viaje con Impulse al municipio de mesetas tiene como atracción principal el Cañón del Río Güejar, sin embargo quedamos impresionados con la riqueza natural, cultural, gastronómica e histórica que rodea toda la experiencia! Completamente recomendada, todo muy bien organizado, el alojamiento buenísimo, alejado un poco del pueblo, ideal en tiempos de pandemia. Buenos protocolarías de Bioseguridad, un gran operador en Mesetas, on guías fantásticos. Muchos agradecimientos y felicitaciones a Jefferson y a Milaidy de Corpoturem que hicieron que el viaje fuera una experiencia inolvidable.
