Fabulous performance and costumes! The buffet was very blah - not really with calling it dinner so I would skip that option.

Wonderful experience! We had a very informed driver which made the ride quite interesting. The costumes and performance were beautiful. Four stars instead of 5 because the dinner buffet was pretty bland and at the performance people were entering until 10 minutes into the show, which was noisy and distracting.

The food was better and more abundant than I anticipated,
with the amazing Prambanan Temple lit up in the background. After dinner our group was permitted back stage to watch the men prepare backstage as they put on their makeup.
For the performance we were in the VIP cushion seats which were comfortable and center to the stage. The performance was outside which was nice, it is on the long side.

Really beautiful performance, in a gorgeous setting. Guides were extremely knowledgable and helpful, so much so that we've requested to do another outing with them. Dinner setting was unforgettable, with the temples as an amazing backdrop. Only negative is that the dinner menu is not vegetarian-friendly - almost everything had chicken or beef in it.

This experience by far surpassed my expectations! I loved eating delicious Indonesian food with Prambanan temple at night (amazingly beautiful!!) as a backdrop. I thourougly enjoyed the Ramayana Ballet - the dancers were are extremely skilled and the show is very colourful. The photos with the cast at the end of the performance gave an added value to the experience. But the cherry on top of the cake was the attention to detail and the personal contact provided by Gilang and Gusti from Travelixm! I thank them both from the bottom of my heart! I can highly recommend this tour!

Well organized package: travel to and from, dinner, Ballet performance. Hosts were friendly and informative. Dinner was classic Indonesian -- very good - with view of the Prambanan Temple in background. Ballet went way beyond my expectations -- engaging and beautiful, with the Temple in the background behind the stage.

Everything about this event was perfectly executed. From the confirmation and information months ago at the time of booking to the days leading up to the event and the evening itself. I was kept informed frequently so that I was absolutely reassured that everything would be fine. Purba and his friend arrived well on time to pick me up at my hotel and took care of me by bringing me a drink during the intermission and guide me to my seat. They also made sure they took some pictures as a souvenir (since I was on my own). The buffet was nice and the setting out of this world, with a table overlooking the Prambanan temple site. I have seen several Ramayana performances over the years but this one beats them all. I would recommend it to everyone visiting Yogjakarta! Thanks for a wonderful evening, guys!
