For this experience, we've got everything set up, from the soup and ramen sauce to the fragrant oil and chashu. First things first, we'll craft semi-soft boiled eggs. Then, we'll dive into prepping ramen toppings, followed by slicing and combining the ingredients for our gyoza, which we'll then deftly fold. After that, we'll infuse the chashu with its delightful flavors and sizzle up the gyoza to perfection.
The grand finale includes crafting the soup, boiling the noodles, and the oh-so-cool noodle draining technique that never fails to impress. Finally, we'll artfully assemble the toppings onto the ramen. Trust me, learning the ins and outs of ramen creation will undoubtedly deepen your love for this dish.

Amo and Sensei chef were great and kind to share home and culinary skills with us.
We learned so much and will be cooking ramen and gyoza soon!

My wife and I took this Ramen Cooking Class and loved it! Yoshi and Amo were great. A small group of 4 allowed for a quaint and social experience. Learned about the history and styles of cooking ramen as we made it. We also made dumplings and then ate a wonderful meal. And we got the recipes! Highly recommend this for a family or a couple.

Best excursion we did in Tokyo, Amo & Joshi are incredibly gracious hosts! Amo met us at Ekoda Station and walked us to their lovely home where we got to work making dumplings. (My uber-finicky 15 yr old declared she now loves them). We learned so much in just a couple of hours. They were also very flexible and adjusted to have chicken only, no pork broth or pork dumplings (see finicky comment). Worth the trek out to Ekoda, it's a lovely leafy part of town.

The chefs were amazing and extremely kind. They were super understanding when we were late to the class due to getting lost/our taxi dropping us off at the wrong place. They were super helpful during the class and were patient with me as I struggled a bit with the dumplings LOL! At the end, it was raining outside and they saw we had no umbrellas. One of the chefs gave us an umbrella for free and would not accept yen from us when we tried to pay for it. Extremely kind and understanding people. The class was such a great time, super tasty, and fun. Worth every penny and would 100% do again.

Spending time with Yoshi and Amo was lovely, not only very interesting and educational when it comes to learning about ramen and gyozas but also very fun to get to know them and learn more about Japanese people and Japan. The ramen at the end was the cherry on the top, absolutely delicious and one of the best I've ever had.

My partner and I booked this as an activity for our last day in Japan and it was the highlight of our trip. Yoshi and Amo guided us through every step of experience and the end result was absolutely delicious! They were even kind enough to give us some advice on shopping and other activities in the local area. The whole experience had a very homely, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

My partner and I did this on our last day in Japan, and on a bit of a whim. I cannot believe that this was the single best experience we had in Japan. The couple who run this go out of their way to create a warm and encouraging atmosphere. They come to get you from the train station, and from the moment you walk in the door they are the most hospitable people. They not only gave good instructions on what you do, but also give history to the courses. Would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo.
