Take an Ancient Roman trail over the mythic hill Perun that connects two villages Podstrana and Krilo while enjoying a panoramic view of the archipelago of Hvar, Brač, Šolta, Vis islands, the peninsula Čiovo as well as Split, Stobreč, and Trogir.
Experience this while horseback riding in the serene ambiance of tranquility and natural beauty. The trail goes along a stone terrain mountain way so you are surrounded by the relaxing atmosphere of a mountain range. The trail begins in the old village of Gornja Podstrana.
Allow our horses to take you through an oasis of serenity and beauty while you feel as if floating. You will be greeted by your personal guide that will be with you for the entire Trail.
The hoses are extremely well tempered and well-mannered and the trail itself is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced riders. There is no prior horseback riding experience.
The entire trail is walked and not run by the horses with your guide setting the tempo and order of the group as well as explaining all the historic and natural sights of the area.
we can organize transfer to our ranch from centar of Split or from your accomodation but it is extra pay.

Pictures don’t do this experience justice. If you’re in Split, you’ve got to do this tour. It lasts about two hours and includes a private, guided horseback tour of Split’s beautiful mountains and you can see EVERYTHINHG. It’s truly like experiencing something out of a fantasy book. I can’t recall the spelling of our guide’s name, but it started with an M and she is new I believe. She was absolutely amazing, super knowledgeable about horseback riding and Croatian history. She talked to us and made us feel so comfortable the whole way. After the tour concluded, they served homemade wine, cheese, tomatoes and meat. Absolutely amazing. You can also book private transfer with them that costs about as much as an Uber, but feels more reliable and the taxi driver was SO nice. The drive gets really treacherous so I felt comfortable that our driver was experienced in the village. 10/10 reccomend for anyone coming to Split looking for an adventure

We had a wonderful afternoon ride! The horses were very well behaved. Our guide was very friendly and made sure that everyone was enjoying the ride. The ham, cheese and wine afterwards were lovely

We had a great experience! We had a little trouble getting to the ranch in uber as the road was closed and they helped pick us up, so thank you!
The ride was so beautiful, felt safe and the horses very well cared for. It was my friends 2nd time on a horse, but she felt safe. Lovely snack after and the views along the trail were stunning

Matteo was great. I went with two of my friends and he was very descriptive in regards to the tour, and helpful with the horses. The snacks and wine were exceptional after our tour. Matteo was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend. The riding part of the tour was perfect length and views were stunning.

Lovely and tranquil ride with some bits of town history amongst it. Horses are clearly well looked after. The wine, cheese and bread at the end were divine!

We absolutely loved our ride yesterday - we were lucky enough to go at a quiet time so it was just myself, my husband and the owner (Mateo, we think) The views were incredible and the horses were so well behaved and calm. We both have some riding experience so were offered the chance to 'go faster', the horses got very excited and we had a short gallop up the mountain which added to an already memorable experience 😄
We got back to the ranch to some bread, cheese, meat and wine to enjoy while taking in the views. We didn't feel rushed to leave at any point and even got the meet the other horses. We loved how relaxed and friendly Mateo was, thank you for a great experience 😊

The views from the mountainside were breathtaking as we sauntered along a well-groomed stony trail. The Adriatic Sea was visible for most of the ride. Ancient rock walls along the landscape were fascinating. Our guide was terrific.
