Excellent tour, lots of fun. Astor was an amazing host and fun companion. After the first flight of beers, he curated the future beers to our tastes and showed us some very fun places to hang out in Reykjavík. Definitely recommend

I booked this very last minute as my Northern lights tour was cancelled due to weather, and I'm so glad I did! Even though I was on my own, I felt very welcomed and it was a lovely sociable night. Our guide was friendly, interesting and funny and the beers were delicious and plentiful! I then went back to the bars we had been to at other times during my trip as they were really great places for a drink. Hope to do this again when I'm back in December!

As a solo traveller this was a fun way to mingle and learn a little about the beer history of Iceland. The tour takes you to bars that are less touristy than the main bars. We visited 3 nice venues and had about 5 different beer samples in each. The beers and craft ales were really tasty and unique. Decent amount of beer supplied overall. The quide we had was a real fun guy who had lots of passion and Knowledge. He was also very keen to answer any questions. It is also a good soial event to chat to the other people on the tour who come from different countries. It probably would have been good to discuss more about the craft ale movement in Iceland but that is as much my fault for not asking! I will definitely be returning to one of these bars before I depart to try some more delicious ales..

A great way to learn about and taste some of the many Icelandic beers! Made some new friends as part of the tour as well. Astor gave us good information and took us to three locations, the last of which we liked well enough to extend our part of the tour a while. :)

Seeing different bars was good and hearing about the different night spots was also good. The guide was quite poor, didn’t give any background or volunteer any information, only when asked. I learnt more on the snorkelling tour about the drinking history and culture of Iceland than I do did on the booze tour.

Our friendly guide took us to 3 great places. We tried different beers and a local liquor. Very fun way to get familiar with places we otherwise wouldn’t have gone to.
