The Sarapiqui River is the perfect couple or family adventure, with fewer participants than the morning tour, giving a more private feeling. The rapids are perfect for first-time paddlers looking for a challenge or families interested in fun, set in the lowlands of the rain forest, you’ll get breathtaking views of tropical birds and lush jungle landscapes.
Sarapiqui allows you to not only enjoy the rapids. Also stop along the way to enjoy a delicious fruit picnic on the riverside, jump into pools, swimming and some other challenges. .This trip begins in La Fortuna, in Costa Rica’s Arenal region, where our expert guide will pick you up in private transportation from your hotel and you will travel 1 hour to the river.

Traveler pickup is offered
-Bring comfortable clothes to get wet and paddle, secure shoes for rafting (closed toed shoes are safer, flip flops or crocs are NOT RECOMMENDED), bring also changing clothes.
-Make sure you show up at the reception of your hotel or pick up place at the right time. Guides and drivers only wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the pick up time. If you are not sure about your PICK UP TIME call or send a whatsapp message to +506 89342626.
Please Note: "Pick up time" refers to the time we pick you up at the hotel, "Start Time" refers the time when the tour starts.
Pick up service is included ONLY for hotels located 5 km around La Fortuna Central Park. We DO NOT offer pick service on Airbnb, however you can drive or take a taxi to our main office in La Fortuna, where we offer safe parking and more facilities.

The best and most wild tour in la Fortuna, Amazing rapids and wonderful guides. The rapids were thrilling, the scenery was breathtaking, and the entire journey was filled with laughter and excitement. A definite must for anyone looking to add some adventure to their Costa Rican getaway

Rafting down the Rio Sarapiqui was the perfect family adventure! Even with kids in tow, we felt completely safe thanks to the expertise of our guides. The Class III rapids provided just enough excitement to keep everyone entertained without being too intense for the little ones.
