We get through one of the largest urban forests in the world. The Tijuca National Park gathers many attractions, such as the Pico da Tijuca, Pico do Papagaio and Cascatinha Taunay.
The preserved Forest is visited by locals and tourists for the practice of sports, strolls and walks. Birds, native plants and fruitful trees compose the flora and the fauna of the Forest of the Tijuca.
Stop At: Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer, Estrada Redentor - Alto da Boa Vista Alto da Boa Vista, Parque Nacional da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro 22241-330 Brazil
Reaching the Christ, we'll take you with our tour vehicle from its base to nearly the summit. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular. After some time to walk around and take photos, we make the way back down.

Venue for the Carnaval, the largest spectacle in the world. The Sambadrome is the epicenter of samba during the Rio de Janeiro Carnival. Locals and tourists in the stadium watch as the top samba schools perform for the title along the avenue.

The most important Brazilian football temple. It was stage for important football events like hosting the 1950 and 2014 football world-cup and the Olympic games of 2016.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro stands out among the buildings in the Center of the city. Its unique architecture catches the attention of everyone passing by and surprises those who visit it! We will then go up the Sugarloaf Mountain.
A series of two cable cars will take you to the top of Sugar Loaf. At the top, again some of the most breathtaking views of Rio, this time from a different vantage point than at Corcovado.

This trip is an absolute must! Gustavo was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! We spent only a few days in Rio so we were pressed for time for touring the city. With this booking, we were able to visit so many Rio landmarks in just one day! Highly recommended!!

The experience and the views were definitely amazing. Our guide Gustavo shared a huge deal of information, in different languages, which enriched the experience. Expect huge crowds as these are popular destinations.

We were glad we went - we saw all the important things in Rio in one day, with transport. Without the tour it would be very difficult to do that. On the other hand, the organization and communication could have been better. At almost every stop somebody got lost or was too late, because it wasn't clearly said when and where we meet again. Or not everyone could hear it. This resulted in a lot of waiting and looking for other people. So most of the time you either drive or wait.
The speakers in the bus have a really bad sound, so when you sit in the back, you understand every third word from what the guide is saying and miss a lot of information.
Also, we didn't go to the restaurant that's listed here. Instead, we went to another one, that's got worse reviews. Also, it wasn't "all you can eat" for everyone - the other guests had to weigh and pay the food. It became unclear who's from our group and thus doesn't have to pay (it also wasn't communicated to us like this), so some people from our group paid for their food.
All in all, we would do the tour again, just to see all the things in one day. But compared to similar tours in other cities, this one has room for improvement.

This is just an excellent tour and we had a fantastic day . Our tour guy Warley is a fun guy and he is knowledgeable and informative . We highly recommend the tour to others who is coming to visit Rio.

This tour was fantastic.
Sites on the itinerary were awe inspiring, time allocated to see them didn’t feel rushed so it was a quality experience.
Meal at lunchtime was fabulous too.
Well run tour with professional, knowledgeable and informative multilingual guide, and we had an amazing driver too.
Bus was very comfortable and air conditioned.
Can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
Was also very good value for money with entry tickets and a meal included.

Gregtur Tourism is the best option in Rio de Janeiro.
Gustavo our tour guide did a fantastic job speaking in multiple languages the entire tour.
Wow! We were very impressed not only by his language skills, but also the excellent driver, along with the great attitude and patience showed to all passengers.
The lunch was a 10/10 as well. Excellent meal options. Don't hesitate. This is the best choice in town.
We had this tour during a very busy season where the whole city was crazy busy because of the huge amount of tourists because of the Madonna Concert on Copacabana beach.
We were impressed how well they re-organized the stops for us to avoid the crowds by 5pm we were back at our hotel.
