You will first make your way towards the island's East End were you will discover Roatan’s different types of species and wildlife such as butterfly birds monkeys sloth and more on the island on a guided tour hearing and learning about Roatan’s history and rich culture. It combines by two great stops for you to see and photograph the animals at Mayan edden eco park

Meeting instructions: Mahogany Bay: Upon debarkation of your cruise ship at Mahogany Bay Cruise Center, walk past the shopping area. You will see the white taxis; at that point, make a left straight up the hill. When you see a green gate, walk through it and walk down to where you see people holding signs. Look for the one that says Roatan Henry Tour, and ask for Creg. Let him know you have a reservation with him and tell him your name. Coxen Hole Pier: Upon debarkation, walk through and past the main shopping area on your right. Turn right when you see sales booths. You may be confronted by other vendors offering their tours. They will be very persistent, but keep telling them that you are all set. Keep walking towards the exit gates to the main street. If you have any trouble finding the exit, ask the security professionals at the pier, who will assist you with finding the exit to the main street. As you exit through the gates, look to the right, where you will see people waiting and holding signs. Look

Pretty bad overall.
Drove 1 hour to an ATV tour that was not a tour. We drove on bad roads, at a VERY slow pace, as in, 6 mph. The ATV literally said 6 mph for most of the drive. To put that into perspective, I ran my half marathon at 6.5 mph, for 13 miles, and I'm not a tremendous athlete by any means.
We briefly stopped at a littered beach that was the "scenic area", to get a picture. Then we drove next to more trash to get to a village with nothing really going on. We got a drink at the bar and then rode back.
We then got back into the car where we originally set off, meaning the ATV tour was mostly a colossal waste of time, and then headed to the animal sanctuary.
This was the only redeeming portion of the trip, as the guide was knowledgeable and the animals were fun to see, with some of then even climbing on your back. But even with this glimmer of a positive experience, it could not make up for the dumpster fire which was the atv tour.
I would give the ATV tour negative stars if I could. Please spend your money elsewhere unless you really like slow moving, trash filled, non scenic ATV rides.

Super easy to find once we arrived in port. Trent and his son Brent were our guides and were great. Rode on an air conditioned bus to the atv site. Our group was really large so took awhile to get everyone set up. We loved seeing the village and surrounding area. Our only frustration was some of the people had never driven an ATV before, would have been better if they allowed those with previous experience to go in front. Then went to monkey, sloth experience after. We had 2 teenage boys 17 & 12 was a great excursion for them.

Great tour all around. We were just with our party of 7. Ages ranged from 10-47, with two in their teens and two in their twenties and we all had a blast. The tour started promptly, traveled out of Coxen Hole via RC cruise port so had approximately 45 min drive to get to ATV. Rode for about 1 hour, and my 14 year old was able to drive her own so she was stoked!! Stopped for a couple of pictures, would have liked to been asked if we wanted to stop for snack or drink as we love to support local, but we were the later tour of the day and probably on a time restraint. Hopped back on bus to ride to Monkey a Sloth Sanctuary, where Howie gave us a great presentation prior to letting us meet the animals. Our bus driver Trent was also very knowledgeable and happy to answer all the questions my family had during the ride. We got dropped off right inside the port. The pick up location was outside the port so you had to walk through everyone wanting to sell you a tour. I was expecting this and everyone was very polite and friendly. But if you were not expecting this ahead of time this part can be overwhelming for first time travelers. Just smile and say you already booked with Henry Tours and they all smile and point you to the right place. Thank you for sharing your beautiful island with us!!

The first part was OK I think it was our drivers very first time he took us to the first part of our trip which was four wheeling, and then we were to go visit the monkeys and the sloth, and we got lost for over an hour and never made it to our destination. What I most upset about is I have no way to contact anyone about getting at least part of our money back or the total of it was a total disappointment. He would not use his GPS because I don’t think he had any minutes on his phoneand he asked for directions and we kept going the same way each time and it was not a good experience at all

We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this tour! It exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 10!!! Had an amazing time with Licor (our driver and our tour guide). He stayed with us the entire time. My teenage son loved it so much, he’s still talking about it! Will definitely be booking Viator for all our land excursions when we travel.

Tour was excellent, Shem was an excellent driver. Took us to the ATVs & the petting zoo. He picks you up in his Suv and takes you to the locations. Great tour.

Our car driver took us to the ATV part of our excursion and then we never got to the sloth /monkeys he got lost twice and never found it !!!! After two try’s some very scary streets we asked him to return us to the cruise port. Now can any help me to how I contact TripAdvisor for a refund. I can’t find that avenue! Four unhappy customers!

The 4 wheelers were a lot of fun. We saw some very pretty country. Wildlife park was really nice. Shem was an excellent guide. He started our tour early because we were concerned about the time and getting to the ship on time. He did an amazing job! The tour is different than the ones through the cruise ship because you see more of the actual local areas. Very interesting. I recommend.

Driver of the van was really interesting about Roatan. Really enjoyed the people who went with us on the quad ride. Very nice and fun to be with. The Wild Life adventure was not much - 4 cages with sloths, parrots, monkeys - definitely not that big of a deal. I wouldn't pay to go back to that.
