I had booked this experience to propose to my girlfriend and she said YES! This tour absolutely exceeded my expectations.
To arrange this proposal, I had at least 2 weeks long email conversations with Ms. An from etours and she was very very helpful, patient and understanding and even suggested how they can decorate the raft.
We were picked up from our hostel by a private tour car accompanied with a guide. The guide was very attentive, friendly and cooperative to my whole proposal surprise plan. We took a private boat ride in the coconut forest at about sunset which was very beautiful.
Eventually we reached the hotel with the bamboo raft dining. They had decorated the entire raft with flowers and candles which I had not even expected. We had a welcome drink, a walk around the hotel area which has very lush green rice fields.
Then we stepped on the bamboo raft which was in the middle of the lake in the coconut forest with just us, a chef, a guitarist and a waitress. The food was incredible, the guitarist was amazing, the waitress was so nice and finally we had a photographer around our raft to capture the big moment :)
I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful the evening was and I recommend this trip to anyone travelling to Hoi An.
