Best of Rome Walking Tour

In the afternoon, your 2.5-hour walking tour starts at Piazza di Spagna, where you’ll meet your guide and set off around Rome’s historical center. Admire the famous Spanish Steps, which lead up to the Trinita dei Monti church, and then walk to the Trevi Fountain, perhaps Rome’s most famous fountain, known for its legend that states if you throw a coin in the water, you will return to Rome someday.

Continue to the square that ancient Romans considered to be the center of the city, Piazza Colonna, and then visit the stately Pantheon. Walk through lively Piazza Navona, where street artists show off their talents and visitors mingle around the baroque fountains.

The tour exceeded my expectations in terms of the amount of the Colosseum we toured (included upper levels and a good view of the sub level), and the thoroughness of the Forum tour. But given how crowded the must-see sites like the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps were at the beginning of May, they may very well be unbearable at peak season! 2024 seems to be the year for everyone to visit Italy.

I booked this tour to attend with my family and unfortunately one of my family members became ill and was in the emergency room for over 10 hours that day. I asked this company to reschedule us and instead of accommodating us and or refunding us our money back, they chose to apologize in a fake manner and give us their protocol BS. They did not reschedule us for when we could reasonably be able to attend. I certainly do not recommend their services. There are plenty of other businesses that may be more humane in the face of unforeseen circumstances. If anything, they should have refunded us partially. Plus they were unresponsive for quite some time when I alerted them re: our situation. Huge problem. You never know what happens and where things might be going wrong and these trips are expensive. Please make sure you are well taken care of by working with caring companies. This is one uncaring company. I gave them 1 because I wanted to make sure I leave this review.
