Stop At: Villa Borghese, P.zzale del Museo Borghese, 00155 Rome Italy
Villa Borghese is the most popular park in Rome and is considered its green lung.
The Villa Borghese Gardens are located on the Pincian Hill, close to Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. The Gardens cover an area of 80 hectares and were developed in 1606 by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, who wanted to turn his former vineyard into the most extensive gardens built in Rome.
In the same period, the Cardinal commissioned the building of the Villa Borghese Pinciana to the architect Flaminio Ponzio. The gardens were completely redesigned in the naturalistic English style in XIX century and became a public park in 1903.

When we went to the wrong entrance and tried to connect the tour operator and there’s zero response, eventually we pay €10 for another driver to transfer us to meet up the golf cart, very confusing situation!

We ended up NOT going on the excursion. It was not clear WHERE the carts were located, and found they were on the other side of the park from us. A driver from one of the other golf cart companies tried to reach them without success.
They need to more clearly show their location!

Pleasant and quick tour. Guide spoke very quickly and information was generally good but too general and hard to hear

Christine was fabulous. She knew so much about Rome, which was great for our first day there. Highly recommend!
