Our tour guide Radu was excellent! He was highly educated, highly personable and highly passionate about the city of Rome and its history. After spending a short amount of time with him, you can tell that he is one of those very special humans. The tour was amazing!
Also, we ran into him in the city a while after the tour and he recommended a good place to have lunch. Radu was the coolest!!

We´ve gone on many guided tours but this one was special, thanks to our guide, David Battaglino, who is not only extremely knowledgeable but endlessly enthusiastic, born near the Colosseum, witty and all around great person. He wraps the group around his finger like a magician and made us all feel like brothers in arms, out to get the most out of our three hours under his skillful direction. We´ve never been with a guide of this caliber, and you just wanted to spend all day with him. We did the Pantheon tour with him as well, and that was totally tremendous as well, a definite highlight of our short stay in Rome. Can´t recommend this guy enough, he´s one of a kind.

Very informative, our guide made sure that everyone in our group had proper time to see each item or view that she discussed. The pace was fairly quick, no dawdling on this sometimes arduous trail. Well worth the visit!

The groups were much too large. Headsets were of poor quality so that static kept interfering. Guide was sweet and knowledgeable but her accent and rapid speech were too much to understand. Could not keep up with the group through the crowds at the colosseum. We ended up turning in our headsets before moving on to the next two sites. Complete waste of time and money.

My 5 rating if for the quality of the tour guide. He was outstanding maneuvering us through a ridiculous amount of visitors. If you like crowds, you’ll love this place - me, not so much. Three hours of bumping into people and angling for pictures without people in front of me - this was a “check the box” tour - otherwise I’d pass. The guide himself was great so I recommend this tour company if you Have to go to the Colosseum

Great tour! David was an excellent tour guide. He was humorous but passionate about the history of the structures and Rome in general. This tour was the perfect amount of time to explore the Colosseum and you will have time to walk around the Forum and Palatine Hill afterwards if you chose. You will have a better appreciation for the architecture because of this tour.
