The tour was informative and interesting. The sites were amazing. We had visited the Vatican last year on our own and it was much better having a great tour guide.

Georgia was the best tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and made the experience very interactive!! We started right off with the dome climb, which made the rest of the day much more leisurely! My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the people in our group! I would definitely recommend!

This is a fast paced tour with A LOT of walking. That said, the basilica is absolutely beautiful and the dome was a neat experience. We also took the stairs to the very top of the dome and enjoyed the rainy view. After, we walked at a better pace through the Sistine Chapel where the guide explained some very interesting points and art. This tour was what we expected and it definitely is worth the time. Be aware that the "skip the line" only gets you to the "shorter" line at the basilica but paid off at the chapel. Be prepared to be outside, exposed to any weather, and to rack up the steps.

We only got to experience some of this tour, unfortunately, due to the Vatican canceling a portion of it due to a private event. But we did most of it and it went well. The museums and the church were amazing. Our guide was good. The only complaint was that it was a very rushed tour once you got inside and you either kept up or got left behind. The single earpiece to listen to the guide was very uncomfortable and only worked half the time. But to see everything was great.

It was an early meeting time for my group (07.45), but it was worth it as the security queues had already started to form.
Our guide, Mirko, was very good- he was organised and timed the tour well, was very knowledgeable and generally is a funny and lovely person.
The group size was really nice too, it wasn’t massive like some tours can be.
I would recommend this tour particularly if you want to see and ‘tick off’ the Vatican City, it is a very time efficient way to see the Basilica/Sistine Chapel/Dome views/Vatican Museum.
We had 3 different audio sets, and they all worked very well, which made it easy for Mirko to communicate with us.
Would do this again or book with this provider without hesitation.

Chiara was a fantastic guide and Italia tours really worked a miracle to ensure we could see everything despite the basilica closing early for an event. Chaira was so knowledgeable and entertaining there was never a dull moment even while in line. Perfect experience!

hands down, THE BEST tour guide around!! She was so knowledgeable, so personable and so so entertaining. We loved every minute of our 5+ hour tour with her!! If you’re doing a tour of the Vatican, you are missing out if you don’t use Chiara!!!!
