After your guided tour, visit a local winery on the slopes of Mt. Vesuvius. Learn how a local family has been cultivating grapes for generations in this ultra fertile volcanic soil and enjoy a wine tasting followed by a rich farm-to-table lunch.

We had Maria Louisa for our guide. Her passion. And knowledge about the entire area was amazing! We learned so much! We never felt rushed and she took her time explaining and showing us important historical points

Overall, a very good experience. Unfortunately, at the start of the tour at the Rome train station, the representative was not very specific as to where to meet in Naples after disembarking the train for the bus ride to Pompeii, resulting in our missing the bus, even after several tries to contact the tour operator for clarification. By the time we were able to contact someone, we were advised the bus had left without us (which they should not have done!). We were told to take a cab to meet the group in Pompeii, which we did at an additional cost of 100 Euro!.
We are asking for reimbursement of the cost of that cab ride.

We were impressed with the operational efficiency of this tour group for our day trip from Rome to the ruins of Pompeii. Clare was an outstanding guide who clearly understood the history of the ruins. We departed Rome Termini Train station in the morning for our trip to Naples, bus ride to the ruins, and then we returned to the bus to visit a local winery for a wonderful lunch with wine tasting. We were then shuttled by bus back to train station for our ride back to Rome. It was a full day, with a lot of walking, but allowed us to view everything we wanted while there.

Rosa was an excellent guide. She was very informative and personable. She knew a lot about Pompeii and made it very interesting. The winery was also excellent, wine was very good and lunch was great. We throughly enjoyed the day. Thank you for your excellent service. Highly recommend this to tour.

This tour hit all the high spots of Pompeii. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. Would highly recommend.
We really thought this would be a long exhausting day, but it was far from that. We met at the Termini Train Station at 9:15 and were back in Rome in time for dinner!
After using 5 other companies while in Italy this company was the most professional by far. Well organized.
Not only were the directions to our meeting spot included with a link they also provided pictures of the meeting spots. Very helpful when you’re unfamiliar with the area and surrounded by crowds. Which we had known how good the company was because we would have booked all of our tours either them.

We thought this was a fabulous tour. It involved taking a high speed train for about an hour and 15 mins from Rome to Naples, then taking a small (maybe 25 seater) bus for 25-30 mins to Pompeii. Then a very informative guided tour of Pompeii for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours hitting the highlights. (What an unbelievable place!) Then we were given a short period of free time to shop before going to a winery for a wine tasting and lunch and then the reverse trip back to Rome. Every step of the way there was either a tour coordinator giving clear instructions ( e.g. walking us to our train coach where we had assigned seats and telling us where to meet the tour guide- at the fountain to the left at the end of the platform) or the actual tour guide navigating us through the crowds at Pompeii and showing us things you might miss if doing Pompeii on your own. They really took away all the stress of the trip and we had a marvelous experience.

The ruins, in particular the surviving frescos, were intriguing. Also enjoyed the sense of getting to see how they lived.
Lunch at the winery was very nice. A pleasant environment. good food, nice wine.

The entire trip was very well organized, and the staff was exceptional. Our tour guide, Francesca, was extremely knowledgeable. Lunch at the winery was the cherry on top.
