GREAT way to spend an evening in Trastevere! Our guide, Martina, was the most amazing guide!!! She is so full of energy & passionate about the area and the food. The places that she took us were all fantastic experiences. We started off with a visit to the oldest wine cellar in Rome at Spirito Di Vino. We ate & drank wine there after & knew that we were off to the start of a great tour. Prior to visiting Rome, I had never eaten fried artichokes before & couldn’t wait to try it after watching Stanley Tucci’s show on what to eat in different regions of Italy. Well, the fried artichoke at da Enzo was one of the best things that I have ever eaten!!! Melted in my mouth!! Martina took us to so many amazing places that I could not eat all of my food at the last restaurant even though it was sooooo good! I have a big appetite & I was stuffed. But of course had to find the room to eat gelato at the finish of the tour. Having Martina as a guide, while eating amazing food & drinking delicious wine throughout Tastevere, is one of the best experiences that you will ever have in Italy!!! Great group of people on our tour paired with amazing food & wine. Thank you Martina for this unforgettable evening!!!!

Took the evening dinner tour with Gabriel. Especially if you haven’t visited Trestevere before, I highly recommend this tour. It’s long, but don’t fret as there are chances to sit and you move through the neighborhood at a leisurely pace. Gabriel does an amazing job teaching about the foods and sharing some of Romes great offerings. You will get pasta and some pizza, but you’ll get so much more. Also bring your wine drinking shoes, because you’ll get plenty of wine to drink. Thanks Gabriel, it was a joy!

Fabulous tour! Luca was a great guide and having a small group made it feel like we were out for the night with friends. Different tastings, all accompanied by wine (or beer at one stop) provided a great overview of traditional Roman foods. Recommend you do this early in the trip so you can take advantage of the restaurant suggestions while you are in Rome.

The food tour was fabulous. Our guide, Lilia, was fun and very interesting. We tried the best of the food spots. My favorite was the pastry shop! First time having a fried rice ball-delicious. Fried artichoke was awesome. As was the pork belly, pasta, gelato and wine wine wine!

We just took the tour with Chiara. She has been running the tours for a long time. It was an honour to have shared this experience with her. She clearly loves her job and knows the best places and history. The tour is amazing. Small groups, a lot of great food and wine / beer that is mixed with sightseeing and history.
