Al Paca Expeditions was excellent and our guide Walter was phenomenal. Al Paca made great arrangements for accommodations, tickets and restaurants. The cherry on top were the knowledgeable and caring guides Walter and Solidad. They made the group coalesce and the trip truly memorable.

Amazing tour group! We did the 2D/1N Inca trail/Machu Picchu tour with camping and had so much fun! The tour was super well organized with preparing, communication, travel, food, gear transportation, and hiking. The food was home cooked and quite good! Marcela and Simon were excellent tour guides - so nice and fun. We had lots of laughs together as a group.

What a wonderful experience. Juan Miranda was our guide. His passion and enthusiasm for the environment and the Incan culture was inspirational and heart-warming. He provided us with a carefully planned and thought out tour, providing for every detail. His focus on customer service and hospitality was genuine. He was also very patient meeting the needs of someone with physical limitations.

Amazing tour! Incredible experience with Simon Puma, who is extremely knowledgeable and clear. He shared his personal story linked to the area and gave us incredible insights into the importance of the Inca to the community. 10/10 would recommend this company. They also helped massively with changes in plans. We will be back to do more hikes and trails in the future!

Felipe and Ingrid were excellent guides. Group of 13 people. USA, polish, Singapore, Canadian, French and Irish. Really helpful and friendly and assists/prompts photos. Food was great. Travel on bus and train was comfortable and everything was well prepared for the group. Camping for one night was really comfortable in a good surrounding area around the tent. Shower not the best power, but did have hot water. Toilet was a normal toilet. Would highly recommend booking with alpaca expeditions.

I had an amazing time with Alpaca Tours! I booked a solo tour to meet up with my family that was doing a hike at rainbow mountain and an all day overnight Machi Picchu tour with an all day hike. I am able but older and didn’t wish to slow my family down. The company customized my experience and created meet ups for family time and photo opportunities. My 3 days included time at the beautiful terraces of Moras Moray, a trip to the salt plateaus, an alpaca farm, a textiles facility, a train ride with local music, a ride on the Hiram Bingham, several beautiful ruin sites in addition to the the Ollantaytambo “living museum” and of course Machu Picchu. My guide David Condori Villanueva was full of interesting information, kindness and patience. He even made time to set up Transformers I had brought to take pictures for my grandson as we are fans of the movies and loved that the last one was filmed in and around Machu Picchu and Cusco. Ricardo, our driver, was kind, friendly and very efficient! I enjoyed everything, learned so much and made magic memories! I highly recommend Alpaca Tours for great experience to appreciate both Machu Picchu and the local areas.

Super well organized and informative. My friend and I debated visiting Machu Picchu with a tour vs organizing everything ourselves, but we are so glad we went with Alpaca Expeditions for a smooth and stress-free trip. Thank you to our wonderful guide Victor for the most incredible experience! Can’t wait to come back and do a trek with them.
