Our Balloon Safaris take place over several Game Reserves within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Rolling hills, large open grasslands scattered with plains game, and winding rivers, together lay the setting for a diverse array of wildlife sightings from the hot air balloon. Our air balloon rides over the Reserves of the Cradle of Humankind, home to four of the Big Five, have a good chance of spotting these iconic animals of Africa. Drifting gently with the winds of the morning our balloon safaris offer guests unique game viewing and photographic opportunities, making for a very memorable experience.
Our meeting point is conveniently located at a luxury lodge within the Cradle of Humankind, and is an approx. 30 min drive from Joburg and 40min drive from Pretoria.

I've never done anything so beautiful in my life. The crew was so caring and accommodating! We fell in love with the organization as well as the whole team! Even just how we were welcomed made us feel like we made the right choice with the booking! The stories we were told were so interesting. The view, incredible. In the end, there was a welcome reception with champagne and orange juice and a diploma ceremony. Then a SUPER breakfast buffet!

What an incredible ride. So exciting to see them inflating the ballon’s. The staff was so warm and helpful and funny. We lifted off just as the sun rose., unforgettable experience.

My husband and I had the time of our life! The pilot Japie was sensational. The way he maneuvered the balloon over the dam and the mountains was awesome. He landed the balloon on the back of the truck to perfection. He loves his job and it shows. The crew was professional Mr M informed us on the history of hot air ballooning. We were treated to a champagne toast upon completion of the ride and we all received a certificate. Immediately following we were provided a buffet breakfast. Today was a good day!

This was a very pleasant experience, the staff was friendly, helpful and entertaining, the flight felt safe and everything was explained properly, the views are amazing and our pilot was knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was delicious at Kloofzight, would recommend to anyone! Worth every penny and the early wake up!
