Itinerary
We start our tour at Marine Lote G. From there, our first stop is the Pirate Channel - there we tell you the true stories of the Pirates of the Caribbean. Here you also have the opportunity to refresh yourself in the clear water of the lagoon.
Our next stop is Cenote Negro. Learn more about the natural phenomenon of the cenotes and stomalites in Bacalar.
At our next stop, the Cenote Esmeralda, we travel around 2000 years back in time into the time of the mystical Maya civilization. Here we explain you the rise of the Maya, the mysteries between the Chichén Itza temple and the cenotes, and the ultimate downfall of the indigenous people.
We continue our journey and enjoy the view to the bird island (season October - April).
On the way back you have the opportunity to steer the Hobie Cat safely into the harbor under the guidance of the captain

We had the best time with Laura and Victor! They took us to the most popular spots (bird island, canal de los pirates) and also to some spots where there weren't any other people and we had the lagoon all to ourselves! They are fluent in 4 languages and do a great job explaining the lagoon (and making sure we see all the 7 colors) and were lovely to talk to throughout the ride. Overall the experience was very intimate (only two of us) and it was nice and quiet with only the wind. Victor is an expert captain and we felt like we were in great hands the entire time!

The husband and wife team that run the business were delightful and knowledgeable. My wife and I highly recommend that you share a little time on the water with them.

Laura & Victor are young couple who started their own business for water sports & tours in Bacalar. They lead the tours personally. The do windsurfing, and freediving (with their associate), as well as spear fishing when in season.
We went booked the hobie cat tour of the Lagoon and was entertained by informative and lively stories about the history/area/culture. It was supposed to be a group tour, but it was slow season so were lucky to get a private one as no one else booked. They were very personable, and we went at a relaxed pace to most of the highlight spots of the lagoon. They even let us try our hand at sailing the hobie cat under supervision. The lagoon was beautiful of course, and we had the opportunity to snorkel/swim a bit at various locations (not much wildlife/fish, but the water's colors were amazing). Beverages thoughtfully provided. We really enjoyed their company as well as the boat tour! Sailing on the hobie cat low to the water, we felt much more immersed with nature than the regular motor boat tours. Prices are very reasonable compared to other tours and very quick responses/communications.

Couldn’t have asked for a better time! We learned so much about the history of the area, sailing, and saw some amazing nature, including a turtle :) you’d be a fool not to book this tour! Thank you so much for a great time!

Wat hebben wij genoten van onze tocht op de lagune met Victor en Laura! We hadden het geluk dat we de enige waren voor de tour, geen andere reizigers erbij! Ze hebben een kleine catamaran, Hobie Cat, heerlijk geen moterguiden!Zij zijn een jong stel en spreken goed Engels en Duits. Victor is de stuurman en Laura vertelt over de omgeving en de geschiedenis. Tijd genoeg om te zwemmen terwijl de margarita’s voor je worden klaar gemaakt! We hebben ervan genoten! Wij kunnen hun van harte aanbevelen.

Expérience incroyable avec Victor et Laura.
Ils vous emmèneront dans des endroits magiques (dont certains où vous serez seuls, loin des autres touristes).
Ils sont super gentils et vous ne verrez pas les 3 heures passées (on serait bien resté encore des heures sur le catamaran). En plus des magnifiques paysages, vous vivrez également une expérience humaine en passant un agréable moment avec le capitaine et sa femme.
L'avantage par rapport au kayak et au padel est que vous pourrez visiter plus d'endroits.
Si vous voulez vivre une expérience inoubliable loin des bâteaux remplis de touristes, je vous conseille de contacter Laura & Victor. Encore merci à eux (si vous venez à Bruxelles un jour, let us know)!

Magnifique expérience. Nous avons pus visiter de magnifiques endroits peu fréquentés par les touristes où nous avons pus apprécier le calme et la beauté des lieux alors que tout les autres bateaux étaient tous agglutiner aux mêmes endroit. Le catamaran est incroyable et Victor est Laura sont juste incroyablement gentil et ont réussis à nous transmettre leur amour et leur passion pour Bacalar. The best 😍

Het was even goed zoeken, maar wat zijn we blij dat wij de tijd daarvoor genomen hebben. Dit was echt een ontzettend leuke zeiltocht. Victor en Laura hebben ons meegenomen naar de mooiste plekken op de lagune. Tussendoor was er tijd om te zwemmen. Zelfs het laatste stukje zelf mogen varen. Deze tocht was heerlijk stil genieten met z'n tweeën, alleen aangedreven door de wind. Echt een aanrader!

Perfecto el Capitán Victor me atendió a mi y a mi Familia espectacularmente, un viaje Maravilloso e inolvidable, nos llevó a conocer las Islas, Cenotes y todas las Maravillas naturales que tiene La increíble Laguna de Bacalar, es un hecho que cuando vuelva a este lugar volveré a contratar sus servicios
