Sailing and Snorkeling Day Tour to Les Saintes

It is great to visit the special islands of Les Saintes from the sea and to see Guadeloupe (Basse-Terre) from the boat. The snorkeling and swimming off Les Saintes was nice, lunch was really good and sufficient. It was wonderful to ride the waves on the boat, in particular to see flying fish several times. Our skipper gave us good explanations on everything in English and anyone could help with the boat, including steering it on the way back. Very relaxed and informative day trip that the whole family, including our kids (14 + 12 y) enjoyed. Thank you.

Our small group loved every second of the day with "Mat" and the other friendly passengers! His safety reviews put all at ease and his knowledge of the island was extensive, plus he was kind enough to cater to our English speaking group while also assisting the French speaking passengers...not an easy day for a captain! The views, the food, drinks and company were all perfect and his taste in music has opened up a whole new experience for me personally! We can't say enough great things about our day sailing!!!Thank you for the fond memories!

Thank you for explaining things in English, Olivier & Sonja, unlike most French companies in Guadeloupe. The homemade lunch of Chicken Columbo & fruits was delicious & the trip highlight was sailing back to the mainland, listening to Bob Marley...

From the moment "the happy sailor" welcomed us to the end at sundown I was in the hands of someone fun and capable, caring and interesting. The guests were lovely. It was a perfect day, a perfect lunch, and filled with beauty as the boat took us to the Saintes and back.

Very nice sailing out of Base Terre to les Saintes. My family of 4 and 4 others plus the skipper on a 37 foot sailboat with main and Genoa. Matthieu was a great skipper and guide going back and forth from French to English pointing out sites and a sea turtle along the way. 2 snorkeling outings, one along a cove and the other at the site of a sunken boat, both good. He prepared a hot meal for lunch, which was good. There was water, fruit juice and rum drinks but no beer or wine. Weather was perfect and I had a chance to take the helm for an hour or so.

We did the all day sailing excursion, it was wonderful and the captain spoke great English and took the time to explain things to us in English which was greatly appreciated. The snorkeling spots were beautiful and it was cool to see terre-de-haut and terre-de-bas. Food and drinks were good as well. Can’t beat seeing the sunset from a sailboat!

I had a great time! You definitely get your money's worth. We were close hauled all the way to Les Saintes Islands with everyone perched off the port edge of the boat... we got to take turns at the helm. We were pounding into waves with the warm splash of the Caribbean Sea- it was exhilarating. We moored up in a bay and went for a snorkel before returning to the boat where Captain Robin served up a great chicken curry with some rum punch. If you're reading this- 100% book the trip. It books out fast so don't delay. Cheers

Really nice experience designed for the family. English speaking captain that engaged all participants making sure all enjoyed enjoyed the trip. Perfect snorkeling (one at a wreck), lunch and harbor cruise at Les Saintes included. Highlight for the grownups was the perfect sunset cruising into the harbor. For the kids: steering the ship in the “high seas”. Really recommend this trip.

Going on this trip on February 27. Very enjoyable. Handsome boat, good food and rum punch and very entertaining sailing guide. Not much wind but we liked the trip. I foolishly forgot my bathing suit and snorkeling gear (duh) so we missed that feature but Olivier did have some gear on board. Overall a great trip. Planning to do it again next year. Carol
