Excellent half day tour. Guide was easy to understand and quite knowledgeable about the history and architecture in Samarkand. He was also flexible in sites we wanted to see. Would highly recommend Odyl to anyone interested in a tour of Samarkand.

We know Fayoz does this for a living, every day. Yet, it's impossible not to feel like you're being shown around by a friend who loves his home city. Fayoz took our input at every step and provided a perfect mixture or historical facts and spectacular stories. He managed to fit into just one day the sense that you really got to see a wonderful historical city. He's also a great companion during a meal. Strongly recommended!

Our guide was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He brought us around the different attractions and explained in detail the history of everything.
These were all done despite the fact that it was raining heavily. He still patiently brought us around with an umbrella and never left out anything.
Great and would definitely recommend!

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but late. I did get to see everything I wanted to see in Samarkand, and then some. It's quite a packed tour. We went to a restaurant, but I didn't realize that I would be picking up the tab for the two of us and the driver as well. I would have liked to have known that in advance.

If you want the most out of Silk Road history and medieval architectural marvels of Samarkand, I cannot recommend this tour enough! My guide, Odil, was a brilliant expert on all subject matters, a terrific storyteller, as well as a kind and attentive host. This tour covered all the best of the amazing city but did not feel rushed.
Additionally, when a flight cancellation led to difficulties with my scheduled tour, Odil was extremely understanding and accommodating, in spite of what was probably a great inconvenience on the tour operator’s end. I would highly recommend this experience for a wonderful day of learning and enjoyment!

Odil showed up right on time. We spent half a day with him visiting Samarkank. He has been an amazing guide driving us from one site to another. His explanations were clear and concise which helped us understand better the history of the city and the important role that leaders such as Amir Timur and scientist Ulugh Beg had in the development of Uzbekistan. He was one of the best guide we had during our trip in Uzbekistan.
