One hour samba class. You don't need to have a dance partner or dance experience. You meet your instructor at our studio and have so much fun dancing and learning about Brazilian culture. In daytime samba class you can try a carnival costume.

Enjoyed the course overall! The course was perfectly suited for us as beginners, starting from very simple, specific movements. I think 90 minutes would have been a more suitable length (than the 60 minutes we got), but that’s just my personal preferance. The room was too small for the number of people attending, which was a real drawback, but we still had a good time!

My first dance class ever. Teacher was amazing, so patient and helpful with klumsy me! Would repeat. Helped that it was a Monday noon so only three of us.

A fun no pressure way to learn a little samba! The instructor broke down the steps and made us feel comfortable to make mistakes.

Booked this on the misapprehension that there was going to be a crowd and a bit
of fun. Turned up an only us and another couple. It was a bona fide dance class. Not what we were looking for so left before it began.

That was an awesome and very enjoyable experience. We are not dancers but the instructor made it simple to follow and we had a swell time. Highly recommended for all ages!!!

Thanks so much Helio for great Samba tuition and an incredible Samba club visit afterwards. Helio has a real skill to put you at ease learning to Samba as a beginner. I did this solo and Samba works well for that. Great way to get to know others when travelling. The Samba Club was in an old antique place over several floors so the decor was exquisite. I would never have discovered it or gone there on my own without this tour. It’s a must for your trip to Rio.
