The actual boarding and transit experience was fine. Crew was great, and the economy class was comfortable. Only downside was not knowing when the return trip information was and having to go get my tickets both time. If you actually book through FRS clipper you can select or upgrade your seats. Do be at the ferry terminal an hour prior to departure.

clipper ferry ride was a wonderful experience for the first time. we were able to go on the upper deck to see the view. being in Victoria to see the Buchart Garden was relaxing and enjoyable the touring the place and i am sure to go back to see the flowers in the month of June to July. i recommend to my family and friends to visit Buchart Garden. Just walking around town was lovely.

We recently joined the FAM trip on RV Toum Tiou II from Sai Gon, Viet Nam to Seam reap, Cambodia. It was a real charm and character trip. The ship was nice, colonial designed with three decks: main deck, upper deck and sun deck. Great local cuisines on board, five star services provided by the crews on board. Excellent excursions, etc were bringing us an unforgettable experience of the Mekong delta. We hope to come back with you soon.

Not really a tour. Just a boat ride to Canada. I wish I knew that most of the attractions were closed for the season. Pretty much had to kill 4 hours on my own. The ship administration was decent, and the staff was friendly and efficient, except they kept assigning us seats apart. Wanted to go to Buchart Gardens, but this time of year, the shuttle doesn’t run. $60 dollars each way for an Uber, which doesn’t guarantee you return on time. I think a better description for winter is needed.

We had an amazing time in this trip. Sterling, a crew member, was incredibly kind and gave us suggestions for things to do in Victoria. Our day was perfect!

Booked through TripAdvisor but when we arrived the cruise line did not have us down on the trip. They stated that TripAdvisor was informed there was no room on the ship.

Smooth boat ride with very accommodating and experienced staff. Food and excursions available for purchase on board. Recommend visiting Victoria in summer as gardens are less impressive (so we were told) in the winter. The hop on hop off bus does not run in November.
