Itinerary
Why you should choose us...
▶︎An instructor with 20+ years of training
Many other facilities have undertrained instructors who can only teach tourists. Your instructor here, the modern-day Musashi, has over 100 students nationwide and over 20 years of training experience.
▶︎The venue is a real dojo (training hall for martial arts)
We are not a tourist spot, but a real dojo where more than 20 students train regularly. Just being able to enter the real hall where modern samurai train their skills is a rare experience.
▶︎Everything is interpreted in English perfectly
Shogo from the YouTube “Let’s ask Shogo (1.6M subs)”, who is a student of this dojo himself, will interpret everything in English perfectly. Any questions you have about Budo martial arts and Japanese culture/history will be answered.

Was really worth it getting to know a bit about the samurai culture and training as a real swordsman! All the staff were extreme friendly and fun! Highly recommend it! It’s a must for anyone coming to Japan!

We had an awesome day training at this real, fully functional martial arts school for a day. It was a great blend of learning the history and culture of Japanese swordsmanship, getting to learn forms, and then getting to practice cutting mats too. Not a cheesy tourist type thing, but a real functioning school. We loved it, and a few people from our group are probably going to continue training. Such a cool day.

This was a great experience, my son and I both love history and culture, and training was very fun and engaging. Yushin Sensei, Osayo san, and Shogo san were all great. Very friendly and supportive team, providing a wonderful atmosphere for training. Yushin Sensei’s demonstrations were amazing. My wife booked the training via Airbnb, and I am very grateful that she did. I used to watch Shogo’s YouTube channels about Japan and Samurai history, and it never occurred to me I am going to meet him in person in that session. Small world!!! This certainly was one of the best and most memorable adventures my son and I had together. We will do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you

This was an extremely fulfilling experience!
1. Extremely friendly atmospehere
2. Clear and complete safety instructions
3. We practiced katas in groups of 3 using training katana swords, concluding in an exam (!), which I passed as A+ (no mistakes, although sensei Yushin-san was too kind in my case as it took too long to sheath my katana, but one doesn't argue with sensei!)
4. Then we used a real katana sword to cut 2 mats, 6 cuts each person. And for those who couldn't - a magic sword was provided (that cuts mats as paper)
5. Also, Yushin-san demonstrated 3 complex and entertaining katas (unfortunately, we couldn't take video of this, but this was a real highlight, very precise and beautiful techniques!)
6. After which for an additional price I wore a real samurai armour and cut another mat (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)
Other things that I liked:
1. Super friendly atmosphere, no pressure, no grudges, very fluid and easygoing
2. Shogo-san was super helpful for engrish translation!
3. Sayo-san was a highlight assistant, demonstrating various techniques
4. Samurai armor!
5. Youcan make a lot of photos and videos no problem
6. Each person (that qualified) gets a membership card!
Worth its money 1000%
PS. Adding some photos of the samurai armour experience

When we got there, we expected that the teachers would be very strict and serious, but it was a nice surprise to see them joking around and having fun.
The experience was very fun, with learning about the history of Samurai and actually wielding a katana, and knowing that the teacher is an actual teacher of a real samurai style.
Definitely a 10/10, and a hidden gem!

This was my highlight of my trip to Japan. Truely awesome. The experience was in-depth with one of the instructors demonstating very good English.
Its important to listen carefully to the masters although they make the lesson as easy as possible for you, along with a few laughs along the way.
This is a serious course and not for kids. Real super sharp Katana,s are used and if you listen and pass, you will be handed the main Katana to cut (6 cuts) through 2 tight woven grass rolled mats.
I loved this day and all the students assisted each other to capture the memorys for each other.
Thankyou again for a truely wonderful experience.
Regards Anthony.
