The Sausalito portion was a bit of a letdown, no real reason to visit. Otherwise the tour was great. Plenty of fun facts about San Francisco and Muir Woods.

We had a great day on the tour. We saw everything in San Francisco that we would have wanted to and more, without having to figure out how to get ourselves there.
I do want to make it clear, because it wasn't to me from the website, that the trip to Muir Woods is a completely separate bus ride from the City Tour. We spent 4 hours on the city tour bus in the morning and then had a short break for lunch and then spent 4-5 more hours on the bus doing the Muir Woods Tour. Two different drivers and not necessarily the same people as in the morning. This made for a slightly longer day than we were expecting but we did enjoy both tours.

The tour was really good and informative. The quality of the coach was great. The drivers knowledge was great. 3 little things I personally did not like. 1: I was not aware that the tour was 2 tours with a 90 minute break in between until the day. Was a very long day and had I been aware of this I would not of booked this one instead done the city tour in the morning and the Muir woods on another day. 2: I had the front seat and my son and his dad the seat behind. At one stage my son asked me some questions and I turned to answer him when the driver turned to me and said 'Im trying to run a tour'. If he felt I was abit loud he could of asked me to talk in a lower tone however I really confident that I did not talk loud. Suffice to say people behind us were talking really loud. I was left feeling like I could not talk at all for the remainder of the tour and this really impacted my ability to enjoy myself. 3: On departure from Saucilito we were told the coach would leave at 6. We literally got the departure point at 6 and the driver drove us with us waving madly at him to no avail. We were left with no option but to find alternative arrangements to get back into San Francisco. Perhaps drivers should say you must be back by 5.45pm as I will depart at 6 on the dot.

Both tour guides were knowledgeable and did a great showing the sites. The weather was perfect in San Fran so the tour guide took us to Baker Beach to see another view of the Golden Gate Bridge which was an extra bonus. Great navigating and driving by both tour guides. Highly recommended tour!

This was the first time I had visited San Francisco, and I wanted an overview. My tour had a city tour in the AM and Muir Woods/Sausalito in the PM. The buses were comfortable, clean, and the drivers were friendly and knowledgeable. We drove to several places and were able to get out, walk around and take pictures. I would recommend this to people who want an overview before returning to explore in depth later.
