Itinerary
Day 1: Monkey Island & Cayman tour
Stop At: Madre de Dios Region, Madre de Dios Region
Day 1. Reception at the airport or land terminal and transfer to the Monte Amazónico Lodge office for the corresponding registrations.
Transfer to the captain's port where we will take the boat for one hour, to our hostel -Welcome meeting, with a refreshing juice based on fruits from our region. Installation in our respective rooms.
After lunch, we will visit the “monkey island”, located in front of our Lodge crossing the Madre de Dios River where we will find different species such as the family of capuchin monkeys that live on the island and return to the Lodge.
At night we will go in search of white caimans that are generally found on sand banks in the Madre de Dios River, for which it will be necessary to carry a flashlight. Also, we will be able to see the capybara, the largest rodent in the world that can weigh 60 kilos, return to the lodge, dinner and rest.

Day 2: Sandoval Lake - Night Walk
Stop At: Lago Sandoval, Tambopata National Reserve Peru
Day 2. After breakfast we will walk 3 km. In the middle of the dense tropical jungle and we will head towards Lake Sandoval (habitat of piranhas) one of the largest in the Tambopata National Reserve and we will ride a rowing boat where we will appreciate a great variety of birds and monkeys of different species (shansho, cormorant, jacanas, puma heron, buzzards, cotomono, friar monkey, black machín, pichicos and sloths). Perhaps we will have an encounter with the giant otter family (almost two meters long) that is in danger of extinction and the largest recorded alligators of more than 4 meters long, return to the Lodge to enjoy the typical lunch.
At night we will have a walk where we can appreciate the diversity of species of insects, amphibians, reptiles and other nocturnal animals. – dinner and rest.

Day 3: Adventure activities
Stop At: Tambopata National Reserve, Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios Region
Day 3. 5.30a.m. In the morning we will take a short walk along the Canopy Walk-Way, over 30 meters high, which will allow us to appreciate nature from the highest possible level. From the platforms we will observe different species of birds, it will be a wonderful experience.
After breakfast we prepare for a challenge activity on the trees at more than 30 meters high. For this activity we will have an instructor guide who will give us a talk on how to use the safety harness for the Zip-line, feeling the adrenaline at the same time. slide through the trees, return to the Lodge.- Lunch
After lunch we can do artisanal fishing in the Madre de Dios River, with a little patience we will see some species of fish.
In the afternoon the challenge is to cross the Madre de Dios River by kayak, along the way we will be able to appreciate the fascinating sunset.

Day 4: Parrot clay lick
Stop At: Madre de Dios Region, Madre de Dios Region
DAY 4 . Very early in the morning we will take the boat to visit the parrot clay lick, a wall of earth (clay) on one side of the Madre de Dios River, where the different species of parrots come down to eat this special and indispensable clay necessary for their metabolism. You will have an experience that you will never forget to see the parrots of different colors.
Then return to the lodge for breakfast,
Then return to the city, transfer to the airport
