Stop At: Lekuresi Castle, Saranda Albania
This amazing Jeep tour starts with a 10 minute drive to the Castle of Lekursi.
Lekursi Castle was built in 1537 by the Ottoman Empire in a commanding position above the city of Saranda from where it could protect the whole region around. For modern day visitors this also has the strategic advantage of making it a breathtaking spot for photos, including great views of Corfu and Ksamil islands, and making it a must see on your visit to Saranda.
Duration: 30 minutes
Pass By: Borsh Beach, Rruga Plazhit, Borsh Albania
We continue our tour and we plan to passed by the beach of Borsh and his village powered by the production of olive oil. You’ll get to explore this picture-perfect area with , typical villages and breathtaking panoramas.
Stop At: Llamani Beach, SH8, Himare 9425 Albania
We will stop in a secret beach call "Secret beach" were we can arrive only by land rover.
Is a wouderful place were we will relax and enjoy.

Pass By: Porto Palermo Castle, Himare Albania
After which you’ll head for Porto Palermo, the only safe harbour between Saranda and Vlorë. The village is also home to Porto Palermo Castle, which you will visit. Controversy surrounds the alleged origins of the edifice, with some scholars disputing it was built in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelena and instead accrediting its construction to the Venetians. After you’ve had a chance to look around.
Stop At: Qeparo, Qeparo, Vlore County
Qeparo, is a beautiful stone village. Divided in the more recent lower Qeparo and the historical upper Qeparo, has suffered from the Albanian Diaspora that caused a great loss of human capital, which mainly moved to Greece.

Stop At: Piqeras, Piqeras, Vlore County
The discovery of authentic Albania also proceeds under the gastronomic aspect. The stop for lunch is planned in a very suggestive location where an Albanian family will host us in their home and will make us taste a simple and tasty cuisine based on fish and more. Lunch is optional (it costs only 13 euros including wine and raki ….) which you can pay directly to the family.

Pass By: Shënvasili, Albania
From here we will start a beautiful off-road full of adventure and fun.
Stop At: The Blue Eye, Gjirokaster 9701 Albania
Next up, we will drive drive to the astonishing Blue Eye national park, where after a short five minute walk you will reach the crystal clear Blue Eye spring. No one knows its hidden depths, but 90 cubic meters of water a minute gushes out to feed the Bistricë river that then makes its sparkling way 25 kilometres to the Ionian Sea.
We will be back in Saranda on time for your re-embarkment on your cruise ship.

Fantastic trip, the off road driving in particular was a brilliant, unique addition and added to the trip up the scenic coastline! Secret beach was a highlight

Our family of three, including our 11-year-old daughter, embarked on the Saranda Jeep Tour and it felt like we discovered hidden gems of Albania. Sharing a simple yet delightful fish-based lunch with a local family was heartwarming. really amazing experience for discovered the beautiful of Albania, you can do it at any age, i have 20 and i was with my mom and she have 60 years and we really fun.

Really nice experience. The drivers are so nice and the places we visited are wonderful.
There are two thing that you should take in consideration before go
All day long under the sun
So if you have some sort of health problem this tour is not adapted to you. This is not a relaxing day.
Drivers sometimes makes us scared
The rally stuffs is nice, but sometimes is too much. I mean, we like adventure but when it starts to be a worry, there is the moment where they should stop and slow down.
In overall the experience was really nice.

The tour was with 7 jeeps.. 45 people. I thought it would be a much smaller group. We got picked up at 8.. so very early in the morning. At our first stop, we had to wait for more than an hour on the last jeep. We waited in the burning sun without proper explanation why. There was one tour guide who spoke english. The other guides could not speak english. The tour consisted of waiting in the hot sun a lot. Other side note.. the people sitting on the last row of the jeep do not have seatbelts. The drivers do drive cautiously on the main roads. So that made me feel safe.
The places they bring you are nice. But when you are at a small beach with 45 tourists, it gets crowded.
On a positive note, the off-road tracks were fun. So it is an exciting trip. I just think it could be organized a lot better.
