Itinerary
Arrive at least 30mins before your scheduled ride time and be greeted by your guide or the office associate. After signing a waiver, you'll be walked over to the loading dock which ensures easy mounting and dismounting of your horse. Safety always comes first, so after a riding demo (helmets provided if desired) you'll meet your horse, and then saddle up! You don't need any riding experience and nervous first timers are welcome.
On your ride, you'll learn all about the local area including the various flora and fauna, the mountains and the history of the land. The scenery is nothing short of stunning! Ride with real cowboy's through some of the original Texas Long Horns and see our Buffalo along the way. This is a gentle walking tour and perfect for adults and children.
When you're back at the ranch, you'll dismount and free to walk around and feed the animals treats. We have goats, chickens, mini ponies, pigs and more. Sit by the fire in the winter or relax for a bit under a shade canopy while you get your land legs back!

Brian “The Cajun Cowboy” was a very competent leader. He made sure my Mom felt comfortable after a bad experience a few years ago. He gave her back the confidence she needed to feel comfortable on a horse again.
Getting to go across a river was fun. The part going through the winery was beautiful.
Remember to read the instructions on what to wear!

We had a perfect experience. The guides were nice and funny and the horses super calm. We went for my daughters birthday with her roommates and they had a blast and want to come back and do it again

Great ride with beautiful scenery. It was much more exciting than I had anticipated. We got to cross a river and trek up and down hills. There were 3 wranglers with us and they were great. My son is only 6, the minimum age. They made sure to put him on a mule so there was no sudden movements. They helped him cross the river and always checked on us to make sure he was good. We had a large group and they handled it very well.

Our guide Kyle was amazing! Very kind, respectful and experienced. Highly recommend! If considering this horseback riding tour I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

Amazing experience! My husband wanted to live his dream as a cowboy and he absolutely loved this experience. I on the other hand was very nervous as I’m scared of horses and heights but the rangers chose a very calm horse and were very patient and checked with me regularly if I was ok. An experience we’ll never forget and will definitely do again! Wonderful horses, scenery, experience and staff!

The instructions were clear. The staff was friendly, It was beautiful and enjoyable and the horses rescued horses had lots of personality and gumtion.

Ask for the Cajun Cowboy 🤠 he is the real deal! Extremely knowledgeable! My husband’s first time on a horse- the Cajun Cowboy made sure he felt safe while teaching us all the ropes. We had so much fun! Definitely a must do and we look forward to going back! Thanks for a great day!
