Our small group tours require virtually no experience at all and offer the best scenery that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Our moderately challenging, hidden and scenic hike allows you to go at your own pace as you take in the epic lake views. If you are a beginner or first timer our expert guides will give you tips on how to snowshoe and help you stay safe. If challenging or expert level is what you are looking for our guides are more than happy to make that happen. Take photos of beautiful Lake Tahoe while you journey to some of our favorite photographic areas. Take in the scenery while our knowledgeable locals give you interesting information about the area. We provide everything that you will need for the whole activity including trekking poles.**If this tour does not have your day available please do not hesitate to reach out. We will accommodate you!. If you are wondering, "what if there is no snow on my date?", just book it! We can turn your snowshoe tour into a fun hiking tour with photos if so desired.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time snowshoeing for the first time on private land in South Tahoe. No skill or prior experience needed. Beautiful powdery fresh snow. Nicky was a knowledgeable and excellent guide and made it very special! She identified all the sights and foliage we passed by. Another bonus was that Michelle, the owner, also came along with her wonderful spirit and energy-accompanied by her very energetic dog, Roxy, who kept us all entertained!
Not to be missed when you go to Tahoe in the snow season!

My two adult sons and I traveled to Truckee for spring break and are not skiers. Booked a snowshoe tour and found the company very professional and accommodating. But the best part was our guide, Michelle. who tailored our experience to our skills and interests. We all had the most enjoyable day and at the end of it my oldest son said I’m so sad it’s over!
 I highly recommend experiencing this snowshoe tour. Beautiful views, vistas, pictures, and a great workout to boot!

Our guide, Michelle, was fantastic. She picked a beautiful off the beaten path location for us, set everything else up introduced us to the equipment and off we went! We enjoyed two hours of amazing snowshoeing, hiking, views and vistas, and Michelle took amazing pictures for us along the way. Would do this again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend it.

Lovely guided snowshoeing in the Kingsbury area of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Quiet, peaceful forest with some beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. Taylor is a knowledgeable guide and did a great job.

Don’t want to see the area like a tourist? These guys got you and then some! have a lot of snowshoeing experience but I was looking for something off the beaten bath. My friend recommended this company so I decided to check it out. Best decision I have ever made! This turned out to be the highlight of my trip and exceeded my expectations more than I could have ever asked for! If you are contemplating this experience just do it! You will be pleasantly surprised at how non-touristy it really is! Do it!

My snowshoeing experience with Outdoor Adventures was fabulous. Kris was an excellent guide and took us through virgin snow to amazing views of the lake and mountains. There were 3 of us on our tour and it was nice to receive personal attention.Kris is very knowledgeable about the area and gave us fun facts and interesting history. I will definitely tour again with Outdoor Adventures.
