The train takes about ten minutes, and then you will arrive in the stunning coastal town!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Manarola, Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italian Riviera, Liguria
Manarola is an ancient fishing village famous for its brightly colored homes and pristine white wine! Enjoy marvelous views of its sparkling blue sea, the impeccable homes stacked upon each other, and the green grapevines towering in the distance. Your guide will happily point out the best viewpoints for photos (Manarola is very famous on Instagram, its views are incomparable!). You will have about an hour of free time to explore this picturesque town as you please.

The train ride to Monterosso will take about ten minutes. When you arrive, your guide will give plenty of recommendations for how you can spend your time in Monterosso. This historic fishing town is most famous for its wide, white sand beaches with crystal-clear water. Spend some time exploring the ancient town and indulging in some pesto pasta or delicious seafood for lunch. From Monterosso, you will enjoy a 10 minutes boat ride to head to the nearby town of Vernazza.

Admiring the Cinque Terre hills reflecting on the crystal clear waters of the Ligurian sea will be an experience you will not forget!
You will have about 1 hour of free time in this lovely waterfront town. Make your way to the small, picturesque harbor, also called "the Pearl of Cinque Terre." If you are lucky, you will witness the local fisherman arriving back from their morning fishing in small blue boats. Enjoy the characteristic (and famous) views of Vernazza's emerald water and colorful homes. Spend some time strolling through the ancient streets smelling of fresh focaccia and pesto. If you need any recommendations, your tour leader will be happy to help!

DO NOT take this trip as an independent. We were NOT told that you need to have the original face ID to get the park pass. … the train staff would not accept a paper copy or a copy in my iPhone. Neither guide seemed to know what to do about this. It took some time to work out, so we missed the train with all the other participants. In any case we were told to be back at 4:30 on the dot at the train station to meet the rest of the guided participants to get the bus back to Firenze. . 4 :30 pm came and went and the guides and participants weren’t there; 4:45 PM still not there; 5 o’clock still not there same. At 5:15 PM someone called the tour company as we feared we had been stranded. We had tried to call one of the guides and they did not pick up the phone. The tour company took the names of the seven people waiting. She quickly made a call to the guides and was told there had been a delay and they were on their way.. When the guides and the rest of the participants finally got back to the train station, the guides did not apologize, and one of them got quite defensive. She said some thing like she didn’t pick up the phone because she didn’t recognize the number.
And for some reason, the bus could not pick us up at the train station. We had to do a 25 minute walk to where the bus was. We were all very tired and this was quite inconvenient. Also, it’s a group of 60+ people on the bus and no whisperers were provided while we walked with the tour guides. others said it was impossible to hear them, but the guides did not say that much anyway.
It was a very disappointing trip and I would not recommend it.

Thought overall cost was outrageously expensive, not to mention the pitiful lunch!! The places visited were fabulous though! Tour director (think it was Stansislava, apologies 4 spelling) was brilliant esp when a train strike would've left us stranded, her ability to get us back to Florence was first class!!

Incredible views and people. Good tempo, a bit rushed potentially, but with so many things to see, it is warranted. Danieli and Gabrielle were awesome guides.

The full day tour was undoubtedly going to be a full day, however our tour guides did a fantastic job of keeping our large group together and on time. We had a great time at each location and Gabriele did a great job of letting us know the best things to do at each stop.
Danielli was also a great tour leader and her sunflower flag was always held high for us to follow. I would recommend this tour for a great way to sample the towns of Cinque terre!!

The guides Danieli, Gabriele and Reqa in an amazing effort of synchronization and planification, took us on a wonderful trip through Cinque Terre. They gave us a few but very important tips to have the best experience at each stop. Although it's was very crowded (been told it's worse in summer) and the stops were sometimes short due to train delays, we could fully enjoy the place and we knew that Danieli, Gabriele and Reqa got our backs. Awesome work because sometimes the situation with the trains were chaotic (and we were 77!) but they managed it beautifully. No one have been lost. Follow the sunflower! Sheers!

Daniela and Gabriel were wonderful!!! Being in a very busy city and getting on/off trains is a little stressful but they kept us together and gave wonderful directions. Cinqueterre was a very beautiful place and I loved it. Danieli help a lot with her recomendations for enjoying more my visit. Also Gabriele help a lot for finding the next steps in the tour. The only thing with this tours is that is physicaly challenging you need to get up and down from trains, bus and a boat and the walkings distance at the end of the tour is very large.
