Scuba Dive for Beginners in a Turtle Area in Costa Adeje

This is a must if you have interest in water activities in Costa Adeje! We saw an abundance of marine life of all different colours and types. Our instructor Max was fantastic and helped us understand everything before and during our experience. My sister and I had problems with allowing myself to breath underwater (harder than I thought) and mask clouding and Max did everything he could including calming me down and talking me through it slowly to get used to it and swapping his own mask with my sister. Would highly recommend this experience, it is definitely a core memory that we will carry with us.

It was my first time diving and I enjoyed it. Received all the information needed for getting into the water. The guide even stayed with me all the time. He was very knowledgeable about diving and surprisingly the types of fish in the area. Went for snorkelling afterwards, which was also fun.

The staff were brilliant here, we had a brilliant time, I got scared but the instructor Max made me feel calm and helped me overcome my fear. We booked for both of us to go scuba diving but due to my health I was unable to go but my husband still went and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was still able to go snorkelling and that was amazing on its own! Max was amazing, good entertainment and very informative.

Tge location was easy enough to find and within walking distance of most main hotels. The staff were very nice and accommodating, making you feel welcome and at ease from the moment we arrived, which was early. We were met by Fabiana at the desk, who was very nice and smiley. We then had a safety briefing delivered by Davide, who is clearly the seasoned pro, informative, but funny brief, well delivered. The boat trip was short (10 mins) but broken up by the dive instructor Max making jokes and putting everyone at ease. Didn’t see turtles this time, which was slightly disappointing. The instructor took pics and video during the dive, which we bought for €30 (optional) would definitely come again. First class from start to finish.

i love scuba diving but today was too bad for me, as i read in other reviews is it true that there is no time to adapt with the breathing in the water. It was my 3d time doing scuba and i was shocked when my instructor putted me to go down so quick like he was in a hurry, i told him i am not ok and he insisted to go down…. i can say that in my first 5 minutes my only wish was to go back in the boat even if i am a good swimmer and it wasn t my first time.(previous times, in Greece, one hour in the water felt too short for me) luckly there was another instructor who was very calm and smart and he took me in the water slowly. So for him i will give 3 stars, i hope they will read the review because it s important to make this a good experience for the customers, not a bad one. Last year i was doing scuba diving with both elbows injuried, couldn’t move my hands but the instructors from corfu where so great that they let me go alone in the water. here in Tenerife the first instructor putted me to keep my hand on his jacket, it wasn t inspiring any trust to dive, the second instructor was the opposite… so I can t recomend this place because it can scary you, especially if it s your first time

A little bit apprehensive prior to going on my first ever scuba dive but having read the previous reviews and that this company specialised in first timers, I took the plunge. I needn't have worried. Dive instructor Max was on hand and I used up his resolve and depth of patience to guide me through the process of explaining the equipment, getting fitted with the kit whilst in the water and basically "holding my hand" to get us deep into the sea. He is the man. Once I got over the nerves and wobble, I thoroughly enjoyed the dive getting to see different fishes deep down. No turtles but hey - we dont get everything in life. I will dive again and this is purely down to Max making it worth my while on the first one. Thankyou.

It's been many years since my last scuba dive, so I consider myself a beginner. Our instructor Max was great and gave us a full briefing before we got going. A 15-20 min RIB journey to our destination. There were 4 of us, so Max took us diving in two groups, therefore 2-1 instructor ratio, which was about right for our level of competency. Max took our time with us. He was careful and considered. We felt completely secure with him, and as soon as we were able to relax into it, we really enjoyed our time underwater. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any turtles, but others in the group did. We're now hooked, and thanks to Max (and the team) gained some confidence and now looking to venture out to the Red Sea for our next underwater trip! Thank you Travel Sub, we've found a new hobby!

This is honestly the best thing I've ever done on holiday. All of the staff were unbelievable and kept you calm and made everything amazing. Once in a lifetime experience. Its 1 instructor for 2 people and when ur not diving u get to snorkel around the area. Highly recommend.

Great team, fantastic unique experience with my boys age 9 and 13! 9yo could only dive to a depth of 2m due to his young age, 13yo went to 12m, but still great 👍
