Itinerary
During the trip the Instructors will give you a theoretical class, they will equip you, and we will arrange small groups of two divers / instructor
As we enter the fantastic underwater world from shallow waters, we will follow the instructors in a circular route, and we will be able to observe rockfish, starfish, octopus, anemones, spirographs and the well-known seaweed (Posidonia Oceánica) protected by Unesco in a unique and wild environment.
The diving spot is a confined bay at 35 minutes away from San Antonio port, is an amazing volcanic cliff a part from crowds and inaccessible, only accessible with boat.
This dive site for beginners is the perfect environment to start diving in a safe and fun way.
Once we finish the experience of 35 minutes diving up to 8 meters maximum, we will return to the boat, and another group will do the experience, meanwhile, you can relax on our deck taking the sun, swimming or snorkeling (diving with mask and tube). When all groups finish we will return to Port in 20 minutes.

Nobody turned up at meeting place and called 35 minutes later to say that the wind had changed direction. Thats nobodys fault obviously but the way it was handled was useless. Someone shouldve at least turned up or rang us half an hour before the meeting time

Booked family trip. All novices. Well equipped boat for diving. Some simple effective instruction given prior to dive. 2 instructors only for 18-20 people although some weren’t diving just observing like me.
Arrived on time for departure, equipment loaded onto boat. Some paperwork and health questionnaires delayed departure by one hour. Arrived at diving destination not too far away, where groups were split to only 6 persons per instructor/dive experience for 40-45 minutes. Persons with experience went first. The last group to go were novices including my son and husband got less than 30 minutes. They did not have the experience they’d hoped, a bit rushed with equipment, buoyancy all wrong, too rushed in instruction after waiting nearly 2 hours for their turn…anxiety plus plus added to a less than happy experience to circle the boat underwater twice. My son got out and didn’t complete his dive. Had the instructors spent a bit more care and time ensuring diver comfort and gone over instructions again one to one in the water it could’ve made the difference. Too many people. Not enough time. Too much waiting around. Jellyfish too. All in all not worth £150 euros each.

My son Teige has dyspraxia (a type of autism), which means he doesn't like loud noises, external social interaction , and body coordination issues. However, he tried and loved a try to dive in a swimming pool in the UK, so we booked him to have a diving experience with Arenal in Ibiza. Marcelo was brilliant, he made him feel at ease and relaxed resulting in Teige having a fantastic day swimming amongst the underwater wildlife. His big smile put a big smile on my face. Underwater photos and videos were excellent by Marcelo, meaning we have this lifetime experience captured forever. Thanks to Marcelo and the rest of the Arenal crew

A spectacular experience being able to dive with the array of stunning marine life. The staff especially “Marcelo” were fantastic and made the entire scuba diving adventure an absolute pleasure. Their expertise and attentiveness ensured our safety at all times. Exploring the underwater world was a mesmerising journey. The equipment provided was top-notch, adding to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the experience. Loved the patience with the guides and photo/video shoot. Since it was my first time I was scared a bit at the start but still liked the experience under amazing support and training from the Arenal diving instructors. Shout out to Marcelo and team!

What an amazing introduction to scuba diving - we had an incredible experience! Marcelo and the whole crew were kind, patient, and created an environment that put our safety first but was also full of fun and adventure. For these two newbies, we were left in awe of our first experience and have decided we’re not done exploring this sport as a couple - wherever in the world we may be. 👌🏼
