Itinerary
-Upon pick up we will take you straight to the dive site, Playa de Amadores *. If you come to our dive centre we will drive you to the dive site. Your instructor will introduce themselves and get you ready to start your Try Dive experience.
-First your instructor will go through the paperwork with you and answer any questions you may have.
- Whilst you are filling in the paperwork we will start to get your equipment ready for the try dive.
- When everything is ready your instructor will give you a detailed briefing about what to expect in the water. You will put the equipment on and walk the short distance to the ocean.
-Once in the water your instructor will slowly introduce you to breathing with the scuba equipment. When you feel ready you will start in shallow water by learning a few basic skills, after this you will go for a guided dive under the direct supervision of your instructor.
*Please note if the weather conditions at Playa de Amadores are not suitable for diving we may take you to a different diving location further away.

Traveler pickup is offered
We offer a free pick up and drop off service from all accommodation in the southern costal towns of Gran Canaria (Playa del Ingles to Puerto de Mogan)
If you require a pick up please let us know so we can arrange this for you. If you are unsure we pick up from your accommodation and it is something you require please contact us before booking to check it can be arranged.
We will contact you directly with your pick up time as it will depend on the location you are staying. Pick up times will be between 8:10-9:00 (mornings) or 12:15-12:45 (afternoons) depending on where you are staying. We will confirm your exact pick-up time prior to your dive via e-mail. Please be aware we often have other customers to pick up at the same time so we kindly ask you to be there at the time specified by us via email. If you are more than 5 minutes late we cannot guarantee we can wait for you and you will need to make your own way to the dive site.
If you are staying further away we can arrange to pick you up from the bus station in Puerto Rico. We can also advise you on which bus is best for you to use.
There is a taxi point by the Europe Center where we are based if you prefer to travel by taxi.

All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, blood pressure problems, diabetes will require clearance from a Dr)
Minimum age is 10 years
A minimum of 12 hours is required between diving and flying for 1 dive
A minimum of 18 hours is required between diving and flying for multiple dives
Not recommended for travellers with asthma or other lung conditions
Travellers with health conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Recent Surgeries, Heart/Lung Disease, Sinus/Ear Issues and those taking Prescription Medications will be required to have a Dr sign and stamp a medical form to clear them to participate in this activity
A Medical Questionnaire will be sent to you via a digital check in form within 24 hours of making your booking. You must read this and check you are fit to participate in our activity
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 4 travelers
Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 1 day of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability

Total highlight of our holiday! Make sure you book in with Puerto Rico Diving if travelling to Gran Canaria! Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time diving with Ettore and Miguel! It was our first diving experience and they made sure that we were relaxed and we knew we were in safe hands the entire time! Super chilled and was super fun! Definitely book and hope to see you guys again!!

Miguel picked us up from our hotel and took us to the beach where we would be doing our dive, Miguel was fantastic, very knowledgeable and experienced and we felt extremely safe and relaxed with him as our guide, he talked us through all the safety precautions and hand signals we would have to use whilst we were under the water, once we were in the water Miguel guided us through and was always staying in front of us so we could follow him, he showed us many fish and sea creatures, we paid extra for pictures that we took on the go pro and we received them the day after, overall it was amazing and we highly recommend Puerto Rico diving.
Holly and Mike were great too, always very quick to reply on emails and answer any questions I had building up to the dive..

It was the first experience and our guide Adriana was fantastic, cool and super patient! She gave us all the tips and info. The dive has been fantastic, super smooth and fun! Recommend the padi professionals. Thank you Puerto Rico diving for taking us to discover the underwater beauties!

We had a great double dive with Miguel who was excellent with my 13years old daughter who was nervous to breath underwater being told her whole life to hold her breath. He was so patient with her and kept her very calm. She really really enjoyed it. First class instructor Miguel. My wife and younger daughter were able to watch us from the beach and they had a lovley morning enjoying the sun. Mike was very professional in running the business and we felt very relaxed, safe and well looked after. No pushy sales or felt ripped off in anyway, he took time to make sure your questions were answered and you were happy togo diving! 100% would recommend booking a diving experience with Mike at Puerto Rico Diving.
