The try scuba program duration is 3 hours.
Your Instructor is going to give you a briefing before you enter the water and then you will dive in a volcanic reef full of marine life.
The duration of the dive is 35-40 minutes.
*** After 1 dive you need a minimum of 12 hours between the dive and the flight***

This was such a great experience, the instructors were so informative and so patient and understanding. They were really good about going at a pace that was comfortable for everyone. They created a safe environment and never tried to push anyone to go beyond their comfort level. The water was a little rough at the shore but once you get out a little ways/under the water it’s very calm.

There is nothing bad to say about our experience with Santorini Scuba Academy! They were friendly, professional, and from the moment we walked in to their building, we knew we were in good hands. I had never been scuba diving before and my daughter had only been once, several years ago. They walked the group through a safety briefing and answered all questions. They spoke to everyone in English, but were so kind and patient with non-English speakers. They took their time and made sure everyone understood and was comfortable with the instruction given. They provided transportation to the beach for the dive (the dive starts by walking in to the water from the beach). They also provided the wet suit and all gear necessary for the dive (but bring your own towel). The gear was very heavy for me, so they helped me in to the water and kept an eye on me the whole time. They gave us time to "practice" breathing under water and provided individual instruction to each person to help them better use the equipment. They make sure you are paired up with a buddy and an instructor. Our instructor was Mike. I cannot say enough good things about Mike. He was kind and patient. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and cared a lot for us and our comfort. The dive was amazing! My nerves were quickly calmed and I was able to enjoy the whole experience! I would absolutely return to Santorini Dive Academy and do this again. We recommended them to others we ran in to while there, as well. Thank you Santorini Dive Academy!! we had an amazing time and you helped add precious memories to our Mother/Daughter trip to Greece! We can never thank you enough!!!

The instructors were extremely patient, very good with communication and always checking in to be sure you’re comfortable and everything is going accordingly.

I had a really great experience trying out scuba diving for the first time. The team were fantastic, I felt very safe and looked after, well informed, and overall the experience was unforgettable. I highly recommend!

Although I did not complete the dive the instructors were very friendlyand very patient with me. when I wanted to go back up no questions asked they took me back up at kept checking to make sure I was all right. They went with my level of comfort and I would definitely recommend this to anybody who wanted to give it a try or already has experience.

The mask kept filling up with water. Constantly. I panicked to start with and had to come back up. I went back down and did what was taught.. how to empty the mask but this shouldn’t have been filling up every 30 seconds. Because it kept filling up, I couldn’t see or enjoy the experience as I had to keep emptying it and eventually I gave up and wanted to come in. The instructor offered me his mask but how would he have been able to focus on us with a faulty mask? I requested a refund and it was refused. Hence me now writing a review that reflects their customer service

Hands on attention for beginner scuba divers! My wife was scuba diving for the first time and had to take it slow. Very patient and helpful.

Loved the instructors. They were very helpful and so very nice. They will literally hold your hand through the whole experience if needed and took some amazing footage and photos for us on our GoPro underwater. They were even kind enough to drop us off at our next destination to save us an Uber trip at the end which was very generous.

This was such a cool experience! They were also very flexible with our situation since 2 of our people were certified and 3 weren’t, and they let us all go down together. I brought a GoPro and one of the instructors took photos on it the whole time for us. We saw tons of fish, sea urchins, and other creatures. Unforgettable experience!
