The aquarium is very underwhelming for the price of it, it was a busy day and the place isn’t set out well to cope with large crowds and bottle necks easy.. Very limited at actually seeing any of the animals at all. I wouldn’t recommend going here at all.. I’d rather of spent my money else were to be honest..

Our group of 4 all loved Sydney Sea Life Museum! We especially liked Penguins on walk. The boat ride was only 2 minutes after waiting 30 minutes in line, but the walk through was great. You could stay as long as you wanted and see hundreds of penguins. Also, I loved Dugong display, which is beautifully done. "Pig" was active and interactive with his caretakers. It's really fun to watch.
We did behind the scenes tour with guide Andrew. He gave a really good tour and best of all, when he couldn't answer so.e of our questions, he found people who could! Thank you, Andrew!

Visitor’s beware! Ticket prices are not consistent - they vary the prices throughout the day to make the most money. 10:45am you will pay $178 for a family of four then at 11.00am the price goes up to $196? Then half an hour later it goes back to $178. Save yourself the money and the hassle, go support Taronga zoo for $129.60. Better value and aren’t trying to rip families off.

Very disappointing, So crowded it was impossible to see each display or read the information signs. Constant pressure to keep moving, shuffling along with the crowd. Noisy. We had planned to leisurely spend the best part of the day there taking in as much as we could. Less than 90 minutes later we were at the exit unable to turn around and go against the flow of people so we could see more. Not worth the expense. Some sections of the community seem to think it is OK to yell and push in. A very disappointing visit, certainly would not go again.

We did this because we were staying right next to it and kept looking at it wondering how it would be. We got a multi pass so it wasn't too expensive once you split the cost across the multiple attractions. We were surprised at how good it was for the price as we've paid more to go to similar aquariums that weren't as good as this. We spent about an hour there and it was nice to wander around this attraction and then step right back out to Darling Harbour and carry on exploring. We didn't have high expectations based on it's central location, so it was better than expected.

I took my husband who was visiting Australia for the first time and is an aquarium enthusiast and He absolutely loved it! . The shark and ray tanks were just spectacular and the Dugong was just gorgeous . Great value for money

This is the worst aquarium I have ever visited. There were so many people coming in at once that we could barely see any of the initial tanks, once you move through the initial section and through the tunnels the visit is over. We wanted to see the dugong talk but were ushered through and then there was no loop back. Over all, even with mid week discounted tickets, the price was too high for the attraction and it was a waste of time and money. I would not recommend visiting this attraction.

Very enjoyable huge marine life displays and penguins.You can go on a ride and view Emperor penguins. You can spend a fair amount of time viewing the fish sharks jellyfish etc
