Aloha Surfers,
Check in is 30 min prior to lesson start time. Lesson starts off with a 30 min. Land lesson/Safety Lesson followed by an hour in a half of surfing in the water.
We have a Staff Photographer taking photos the entire lesson. The photos are optional for purchase at the end of the lesson.

The instructor was nice and informative but we signed up for a semi private 1.5 hour lesson and it only lasted an hour. When I asked why, he said it included the land lesson etc. I didn’t want to make a stink and embarrass my daughter but they started at 10:25 and finished at 11:30. If you are paying for 90 minutes, the lesson should last that. It was an expensive activity and my daughter had never surfed before so I was willing to pay for semi private but feel I didn’t get what we paid for.

My 3 boys did the lessons. He was so good working with them. Such a great experience!!! They all loved the experience of surfing

My 9yro and I went surfing for the first time with Tyler and Island Style Adventures. We had a great time and by the end of the first lesson I was almost standing and my son was riding well. Tyler was patient and encouraging, gave good tips as well. We were so happy we went for a second lesson where I was able to catch a few waves. We loved the experience and will probably do it again some time

We just returned home from Maui where my both my kids had surf lessons with Carlos at Island Style Adventures. My 7 year old son wasn't too sure of the ocean and Carlos sensed that. However, my 9 year old daughter couldn't wait to ride the waves and the hour and half lesson was soaked up with constant fun! Carlos was amazing and went at her pace. She is asking to continue lessons at home, which is amazing and we can't wait to find her the perfect "Carlos" at home. Thank you Island Style Adventures for makings this a wonderful experience for us. Thanks to Josephina for capturing the pictures we have to last a lifetime. Can't wait to see y'all again! Mahalo! My granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and after a few tries were able to ride a wave all the way to the beach.

Amazing experience for the first day of our Maui vacation. Instructors Nic and Carlos were knowledgeable, fun, and patient with our three kids, and our lesson was the perfect length for learning, growing comfortable on the boards, and riding lots of (tiny) waves. Check-in and payment were a breeze, and the professional photography was a major treat at the end of the day. Thanks to all at ISA and Viator for making our surf dreams a reality.

Beautiful beach to learn to surf. My kids had a great time. Carlos and Andy made it easy going and were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Super cool guys! Josefina took photos for purchase, which was a nice souvenir. She was also helpful in recommending some local places to eat. Great team!

Best surf instructors around! We took a group of kids ages 9-12 who never surfed before and they all did great and had an amazing time! The instructors were patient and great with all the kids (and moms too!) The photographer also captured some amazing shots. Highly recommend ISA!!

Give yourself a little extra time to find them on the beach but once found my kids had a great time. They were 14 and 16 and both got up on the first few tries.
