The oldest bar in Seville's Jewish Quarter, open since 1870, is the perfect spot to start your tapas tour. Try two classic tapas — Spanish-style potato salad and incredible Iberian ham — paired with a traditional aperitif drink: sweet red vermouth.

Grab a bite to eat inside Seville’s tiniest bar. The family that runs this spot introduced orange wine to Seville, which is now a local classic. You’ll enjoy a glass along with delicious manchego cheese and slow-roasted pork belly.

Step back in time as you walk into Seville’s second-oldest bar, complete with large traditional wine vats that still line the walls. Try two beautifully prepared montaditos (miniature open-faced sandwiches): one with Iberian ham, and the other with salt cod and a chilled tomato-garlic puree known as salmorejo.

This was the second Devour tour we have done and it was excellent. The arrangements all run very smoothly and communication re bookings etc is very good. We had a knowledgeable guide who shared the history of Seville and food and drink. This is a good way to have a fun night out with a diverse group of people from across the globe. Well worth it.

We arrived at 6:29 at the meet up location which was a five minute walk from our apartment. The tour was scheduled to begin at 6:30. We were not contacted to confirm whether our arrival would be on-time or delayed. For the same tour in Lisbon, our guide contacted me and the other couple just prior to the meet up time to confirm location. The other couple had arrived at the wrong location so the tour guide remained in contact with them until they could join us at the first stop. Traveler Tip: Make sure you have installed "WhatsApp" on your phone so that you can be easily contacted by a tour guide if arrived at the wrong meet up location or are running late.

The two guides for our tour (one was Mario) were very upbeat and excited to share all about tapas and the history of the city, we went to very different bars & restaurants each time to try the speciality for that particular place along with a matching drink. It was very relaxed and a lovely way to spend an evening!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Seville Tapas, Taverns and History Tour. Anita was a delightful, entertaining and informative guide and she took us wonderful taverns to enjoy Spanish delicacies and beverages. Whether it was a tiny hole-in-the-wall or a larger restaurant, she provided background about the food and beverages we were enjoying and shared anecdotes about the history of Spain. Following our tour, she shared her favorite recommendations for dining in Seville. I highly recommend this tour and you will have a memorable experience, especially if Anita is your guide.

Oisin was a terrific guide and we really enjoyed the various tapas bars and variety of food. He provided interesting commentary along the way and within each tapas restaurant. He made sure that the "no meat preference for one member in our party was accommodated. We would recommend Oisin and Devour tours.
