The driver, he was late and apologized and was very nice. He did not speak English very well however and it was hard to communicate our needs. Roads were closed and we had to back track wasting valuable time. For the money we spent, I will try a different avenue next time.

Emanuele our driver and guide made this excursion one of the highlights of our cruise. He was amazingly welcoming and knowledgeable. Our group of eight all had a fantastic experience in Roma and would recommend Emanuele to anyone wanting to see Rome in a fun, and efficient way. Bravo Emanuele, job well done!!!

Davide did a great job showing us around Rome hitting all the major sights. His knowledge of the city was excellent and he overcame some traffic challenges and got us through our itinerary nicely. What a city! Never could have hit all the sights without him.

This was a perfect solution for how to see Rome when you are on a cruise and have a limited amount of time.
Our driver Davide was on time, was a safe and efficient driver with some interesting info through our day. He knew how to get very close to our selected spots and was ready and close to pick us up. We saw all we wanted and were returned safely on time for our ship’s departure. It was perfect! Plus my husband has mobility issues and this reduced his walking.

Booked transportation for our group of 9 to get to Rome from the Civitavecchia cruise port. Good pre-trip communication about how to meet the driver and plan our day. Driver was on time and waiting when we disembarked. He drive us to the Colosseum, booked a delicious lunch restaurant while we walked through it, took us to the Trevi Fountain area and then took 3 of our group to do other things while 6 did the Vatican/Sistine Chapel tour. Then drove us back to the port in a timely manner.

We had a private car for my wife and I. The driver knew Rome well and brought us to see most of the main sites. We were supposed to get a driver who spoke English, which didn’t happen, however Maulo, the driver we did have was a wonderful gentleman and between our limited Italian, his limited English and Google Translate we managed quite well.
We would happily hire him again.
We were picked up at our Cruise ship in Civitavecchia exactly when and where we were supposed to be, and dropped of with plenty of time to reboard our cruise at the end of the day. Unfortunately we were only in Rome for the day so we were limited in how much we could do, but Maulo had the day timed out well enough for us to see The Coliseum from the outside, The Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and we did get to see the inside of the Basilica. It allowed us to get a taste of Rome and hopefully we’ll be back for a little longer period in the future and see Rome more in depth.
Overall we were very pleased with Viator and with Maulo.

AVOID AVOID this tour. The driver never turned up like the some of the other reviews said. They are so unreliable. We were on a cruise and only there for one day and had a plan for the day and that got ruined. All other tours were booked out so we were left with nothing to do.

The driver never showed 7:0 after 1 1/2hrs in the cold. Viator found another driver Emanuele Fustino 0039 347 51 37 911 email efustaino@gmail.com. glad the 1st driver didn't come as Emanuel by far gave us a dream day in Rome. Have been to Rome 3 other times....best tour guide award should be given! He cared, he was thoughtful, informative and an amazing driver.
