Our guide was passionate about sharing the history of his hometown L’Aquila. He had in-depth knowledge and superb english so everything was easily understood. The tour gave us the highlights of a city on reconstruction and it was helpful to understand the devastation of the 2009 earthquakes. Would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful way to get an overview of L'Aquila. Maria is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions in fluent English. The tour covered the high points, then she gave us recommendations of other places to go and eat in the city. Highly, highly recommended!

We were booked for a 10am train trip.
We drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. When we arrived we could not find a park, consequently we were late and missed the bus.
The lady in the office was extremely rude. She said she tried to call, there is no missed calls on my phone. She could put two of the group on the next bus.
We sat in the piazza to have coffee and the bus did not arrive, Is there actually a bus?
No refund is given!

Best way to see the highlights of this beautiful midievil town. Maria, our guide, spoke fluent English and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of L'Aquila and the sights we stopped at. She gave us as much time as we need to see each stop and accompanied us inside to show us particular interests in each building.
