Itinerary

Embark on a bucket-list paddle boarding adventure, discovering the largest artesian spring in the world. Silver Springs is home to the beloved West Indian Manatee, monkeys swaying in the trees above, and an array of other wildlife to indulge your wild side. The enchanting electric blue water will have you gazing at aquatic life frolicking about, sunken boats from times past, and even some old Hollywood movie history beneath your paddle board. Silver Springs is a designated National Natural Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in America.

Our adventure begins by paddling straight to the headspring and then gently going with the flow as we paddle with the current, making it a very tranquil and relaxing paddle. Our adventure does not stop there, as we leave the river and explore Fort King Paddle Trail, the old Jungle Cruise. The temperature in Silver Springs stays at a consistent 72 degrees year-round. We cannot wait to take you on this memorable adventure through the natural wonders of Silver Springs.

My girlfriend and I, had a wonderful time touring Silver Springs with “Craig”, one of the owners of Otter Paddle! We started out early in the morning around 830am! The water was so amazing! So clear, a gorgeous turquoise color, never before experienced! It was a cooler morning, for Florida, but the natural springs stay at a constant temperature of 72 degrees, year round! One of many, interesting facts, we learned from our tour guide!!! This created a thick mist above the water, that was enchanting, and mesmerizing! We encountered all sorts of wildlife along the way, including manatees, alligators, birds, and fish! Our guide always making sure, we stayed at a distance, respecting the wildlife, as well as our safety! We learned so much about the history of the Springs, and the animals/fish, as well! It was an experience we will remember, for the rest of our lives! Thank you Otter Paddle!!!!
