We had such a spectacular Sintra Mountain tour with our guide, Esmil! He was not only extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history he shared with us, but he also had a lot of tips that made our time at the Pena Palace and Moorish Castle so much more enjoyable. From taking hidden scenic paths to skipping long lines with impeccable timing, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I especially appreciated that we were able to go at our own pace and learn fun facts about the culture, structures, and flora that Esmil would point out along the way. We never had to worry about where we were going or how we were going to get there as he coordinated everything on our behalf. He also offered to take many nice videos and pictures of us throughout our journey which we can’t wait to share with our family and friends. Thank you again for the incredible tour and for making our time in Sintra so memorable!!

Great views. Provided good background story of sights and safe travel to points of interest and then we were able to enjoy at our own pace as driver waited for us. Was available if we wanted tour guide with us at at.castle and Peña. Very attentive and safe driver. Accommodating as took us on a requested detour to pick up a couple things.

Esmil was a great guide, very knowledgeable and just a fun guy. He took really good pictures of us and ended with a delicious meal at a local restaurant. My wife raved about her salmon, proclaiming it the best she's ever had, and that girl has had a lot of salmon.

I unfortunately, was in a postoperative boot. Lisbon and Sintra can’t fully be covered and appreciated if you have limited mobility. This tour is no exception but even with my restriction, which my tour guide Paola didn’t anticipate, she was a rockstar guide. She accommodated me in every way she could by driving us as close as possible to the sites, speaking with the staff managing the entrance lines and instructing us on how to take internal transportation at the sites. The castle of the Moors I simply could not walk but she accompanied me while my friend explored and shared many local insights I otherwise could not have received which helped me plan my itinerary the next day according to my interests and ability. If you land with Paola as a guide, you hit the jack pot: she is full of energy, she is born and raised there so her knowledge of history and spots to see is endless.
