Itinerary
We start by introducing ourselves, getting to know our materials and each other. Then we will start with warm-up sketching the beautiful turtle Renassaince fountain in pencil.
From here we will move to several other locations exploring the beautiful historical Jewish Ghetto and work in pen, pencil and watercolors. The instructor will give you structured exercises to get to know your materials and then you will also have time to sketch on your own.
No experiece is required, this is for all levels of artist and non alike!

This was a wonderful experience, and a different way see Rome. Kelly is an experienced, patient art educator. There is a comfortable flow of the class/tour, from warmup exercises, building up to more complex techniques. It as a lot of fun, and I am so glad I signed up for it!

Sitting, looking at the inspiring fountain and ruins I had the chance to learn something about sketching and create a unique souvenir of my time in Rome. It was a great day weatherwise to do this . I felt part of the city as tourists walked around me looking at the sites. Kelly was very patient as she explained what to do. Her individual help was also much appreciated. I will use the handmade sketchbook she gave each student to record more memories of this wonderful city.

I can't recommend this experience highly enough! Beginning the day at the turtle fountain before things got busy allowed me to experience a degree of quietness in a bustling and beautiful city. Kelly was a great teacher and the small group size was just right for feeling connected, but not exposed. The morning flew by and the exercises provided an opportunity to connect more deeply with the surroundings. Thank you Kelly! One of my absolute favorite experiences during two weeks in Italy--which is really saying a lot, because every day was fabulous!

This tour was such a joy. It was so instructive and fun as a beginner to drawing but also a relaxing break from conventional sight-seeing. I have come away so inspired to draw. Thank you!

My 12 year old daughter and I had a fun time sketching with Kelly in Rome. It was a very relaxing experience in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommended!

This was the highlight of our trip! 3 hours of relaxed sketching in a part of Rome we wouldn't have discovered on our own. Highly recommended.

I did this with mr grand children twice in a week and enjoyed the second time even more . Carry a couple of extra kits with water colors ,washable ink pen etc and offer for purchase at end and you might just start some people on a new hobby or career. All in all a great activity.

We had a great time with Kelly. She was very helpful at every step while also making sure we have our artistic freedom. We didn’t have cash to tip then and would love it if we could get a way to tip :)
