Stop At: The Alhambra, Calle Real de la Alhambra, s/n Palacio de Carlos V, 18009 Granada Spain

The best-conserved palace from the Al-Andalus Islamic sovereigns in Spain. Really one of the most amazing monuments you can visit.

Duration: 3 hours

Pass By: Alcazaba, Calle Real de la Alhambra Conjunto Monumental de la Alhambra y el Generalife, 18009 Granada Spain

The most ancient part of the Alhambra, the military part. We'll be able to see the whole city from its towers.

Pass By: Palace of Carlos V, Alhambra, 18009 Granada Spain

The Palace of Charles V is the only Renaissance building inside the Alhambra, located on the top of the Sabica hill. The building has never been a home to a monarch and stood roofless until 1957.

Pass By: Palacio El Partal, Calle Real de la Alhambra 2, 18009 Alhambra Spain

A small pergola leads to a wide esplanade corresponding to the lower terrace of the Partal. To the left is the architectural structure for which the location is named: the Partal Palace portico.

Pass By: Generalife Realejo-San Matias, 18009 Granada Spain

Summer Palace of the Alhambra and the beautiful gardens. The palace was used by the Muslim royalty as a place of rest. It was designed as a rural villa in the vicinity of the Alhambra, with decorative garden, fruit and vegetable patches, courts and other structures.

Alhambra was so impressive, as was Roberto, out Alhambra guide! And, Mario, our city tour guide was not only very knowledgeable, he took our interests into consideration, and he provided lunch recommendations. The flamenco show was a bit stale. The performers were very good, but they did not speak. Did not offer any stories about themselves or the art of flamenco. I would have loved to hear more so I could better appreciate it all. We also felt communication with the local tour operator could have been better. The person there could not tell us if there was any food available at the flamenco show, and she gave us wrong directions to the show. Suggesting you print these on the ticket confirmations.

The tours were very good. The package we purchased was a three part package. The walking tour of Grenada was excellent. Our guide, Mario, was a pleasure to work with, very knowleuand personable. Our tour of Alhambra, with Roberto, was also excellent. He too was very knowledgeable and personable. The walking part of Alhambra was tough! It’s a very steep climb to get to the palace. Busses are avail and I think to tour should include. A ride to the starting point.

This was a very educational tour and we learned quite a bit more than we could have if we took the tour in our own. Roberto was a wealth of information. Highly recommend this tour.

Friendly and helpful guide. Was let down that the Nasrid Palaces weren't included, this wasn't super clear in my opinion based on the online booking. We also moved pretty fast and although the guide was good, the free Alahambra audioguide had almost as much info. I genuinely don't think having a guide adds very much. I'd do it at my own pace if I went back.

Although the rain was pouring down, our guide Diego gave us all a most engaging and interesting tour, full of fascinating historical facts and pointed out aspects of interest, skilfully tying together the commonalities of the languages and symbolisms of the cultures of those present to give us all an inclusive, insightful and educative experience. Mixed in with this was warmth and humour which helped us all to feel relaxed whilst cold and getting soaked with the rain ! All in all a wonderful experience provided by a very knowledgeable man.

The guide Diego is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and provides insights about Spanish culture, history and languages. There is a large area publicly accessible so even without tickets you can get a good sense of the place.

We tried to get 2 tickets for the Alhambra one week before arriving. They weren't available. The only way to get tickets was through services like Viator and they cost $600! As this was a once in a lifetime trip, we bit the bullet and paid that king's ransom. The information we received from Viator seemed to say that what we had actually bought was not just tickets to the Alhambra and the grounds, but a guided tour of said premises, as well a guided tour of parts of the city as well as attendance at a flamenco show: Package: Alhambra's visit plus guided tour in Granada's historic areas & Flamenco. Extra Tours & 1st Class Show Duration: 6 hours: All three activities combined sum 6 hours, you should consider the resting time between activities. We ended up getting a guided tour of the Alhambra and its grounds, which lasted 3 hours. There was no mention by the guide of a further tour of the city or a flamenco show. And the woman at "Play Granada," where we had gone to meet up with our guide, had done such an extraordinarily amazing job of imitating a female canine, that after two attempts to get more detailed information about how our $600 experience would play out, we simply gave up, assuming it would be made clear by the guide. It wasn't. He was a perfectly nice guy and did a good job of the tour. But we were clearly ripped off.

Rendezvous was a shambles. We were up at the Alhambra Palace hotel and they insisted that we came down to the town to register and then we were expected to climb back up the hill to exactly where we set off from. After the tour I looked at our Alhambra guide book and saw a number of areas we did not recognise. Wouldn’t chose this tour company again. Others on the tour thought likewise

Loved the Alhambra! Clara was knowledgeable and very nice but it was hard to hear her due to lots of static from the microphone.
