Terrible tour - very poor performance by the tour guide (Giorgio), including being very disorganised, sharing political opinions and an inability to adapt to the interests of the group. This included rambling about things that were not relevant to the tour. We were almost late for our entrance to the Colosseum, and the guide had the wrong tickets (despite mentioning at the start that he should check - and promptly talking about something irrelevant) which was thankfully resolved quickly by the tour company. Majority of the group were disengaged within 30-40 minutes.
The only benefit of the tour was the expedited access to the Colosseum.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide, Barbara, was fun, entertaining, and very educated on her content. The tour walked at a decent pace (not too fast or too slow) which was good because we had a wide variety of ages on the tour (teenagers to older adults). We didn't feel rushed to take pictures or enjoy a sight! The tour started a few minutes late but Barbara made sure that we finished the entire tour and didn't try to cut any corners...we ended up going 30 minutes longer than our original time which was great and truly educational!

The tour hit all the high points. The problem was that the guide was pretty hard to understand. Part was his accent but another part were the headphones that we were given. Unfortunately they were a bit muffled making it hard to understand the guide. As with any tour like this the guide is what makes the tour good. If he is not completely understandable it harms the tour in a significant way. That was our problem here.

Our tour guide was so boring and spent more time reading from a book than walking us around the colosseum. Half the group left early because we were so sick of it.

Amanda our tour guide was fantastic! She had a great way of telling us all the history and she was able to do it in a fun way with lots of humor! Colosseum was amazing, but a little bit unexpected was the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill which really made the tour 5 star!

We couldn't have had a better tour guide than Damiano who not only informed us with his vast knowledge of Roman history but also captivated us with his humour which made our visit to the Colosseum even more unforgettable!
