We organize pre-reserved tickets for you to climb Brunelleschi's famous dome in the Cathedral of Florence.
A visit to the cupola (Italian for "dome") is a must-do. The only way to see the dome's extraordinary frescoes up close and enjoy the views over Florence is to climb up all of its 463 steps.
On the way, you can admire Giorgio Vasari's frescoes of the Last Judgment up close.

Clad in white, pink and green marble like the cathedral adjacent to it, this majestic square bell tower is considered to be the most beautiful in Italy. In fact, it was probably designed more for decorative than for functional purposes.

The Cathedral of Florence is an “operating” church and it can be closed to visitors for any liturgical reason, even without warning (for the funeral of a Bishop, for example)
Consider adding buffer time before your next tour, because the Cupola climb may take longer than expected
Visitors are advised that the Baptistery is undergoing restoration of the mosaics of the vault. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Entry to the Cathedral is not guaranteed as the Cathedral is a working church and hours can change without notice due to liturgical or other reasons. Our guides make every effort to enter the Cathedral with guests.
Please note that backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.
Florence can be very warm in the summer. Please be advised that this tour includes portions that are outside and could be in the full sun. Please bring a hat, small umbrella, or sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes.
Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.

The guide Julia was very passionate about the art which was wonderful to see. It really made us appreciate the statue of David even more.
The view from the top of the Duomo was wonderful, Florence is truly a beautiful city

The climb to the top is going to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Not only were the views of the whole city amazing, but the history & the information from our guide were well worth the journey. Be sure to wear good shoes :) Great tour!

My sisters and I just had a wonderful tour of Academia and Dome in Florence. Am trying to remember our guide’s name… Martina possibly? Anyway she was super knowledgeable and quite entertaining. Sad she got away before I could give her a tip.

This was a great tour. We had a wonderful guide that shared a lot of information and took us to the many sites. We were able to complete this tour on time and made it to the top of the dome.

First I can’t say enough about or tour guide Ronaldo!!! He was so knowledgeable and really seamed to enjoy his job. The tour was incredible. The statue of David stole show. The view from the Duomo was breathtaking. An amazing experience!!

We had the pleasure of having Elenora as our guide. She was so nice and knowledgeable, explained everything and with skip the line we got through everything very quickly! If I came back to Florence I would hope she is our tour guide for everything! Thanks for a great experience

My train got delayed out of Rome and while they seemed to be willing to work with me over the phone, they said no refunds. Additionally they wouldn’t let me reschedule! Go through a different tour group.
